Think I'm gonna make some of these....thank you, Heidi! 🥰 Side note....not a normal "go bag" thing, but I learned a while back to keep a pickle jar (but that coconut oil jar would be better) in the back of my car. Hubby and I were out one evening, a few years back, and suddenly, traffic came to a total standstill. The other side of the interstate wasn't moving, either. We sat there for almost THREE hours! We eventually saw a Greyhound bus come the opposite direction. Just the bus....but a few minutes later, we started moving. We expected to see remnants of a really bad accident, but nothing. Came to find out that some nutcase had threatened the bus driver...so lots of us got wrapped up in that mess!
Anyway....a big jar would have been nice....because I was without facilities for all that time! LOL I learned a lesson that day. So, add that to your "go bag" stuff! 😉

Remember, these are Food Ration Bars for emergency so the sugar is important for energy and calories. If you are making them just as a snack, then yes, you can reduce the sugar but I do not recommend it if packing into a go bag. One will need all the calories they can get in such a situation

Depends on how big it is, if it is small like mine, I would not recommend it as it would take a long time and likely wear it out quickly. A blender would be a better option but you will not likely get a fine flour like you can with a dedicated grain mill
