Not a big fan of USoNA bands in general, being Aussie i much prefer the real rock of the British bands. But there are a few exceptions, Creedence is timeless, just awesome, like ABB, Doobies, just great bands!
At a time where everybody plays live note to note to the CDs, Billy comes up with some instant bad ass intensity, insane groove than get John all fired up and they both tear it up.And that's just his night out thing. Have Mercy!
When these guys come to the Bayou to play, the people, alligators, black bears, deer, crawfish, ducks, geese, eagles, and all kinds of birds and critters come out to party and dance all night long, even the stars shoot across the sky. It is magical, every time they play here.
When I was 5 (‘71) my friend told me that when I was 2 that I wrote “Down On The Corner” and then I released it a year later in 1969. I believed him! What a vivid childhood memory. But I’ve loved CCR ever since 1971 at the ripe old wise age of 5. Still I’ve never seen a royalty from that song. 😂😂😝😝
I'm on a Fogerty Fest going from one song/vid to another. Just came from Fogerty and Seger (goosebumps) and now this! Next stop: Fogerty and Garcia. Thank you John Fogerty for your music and the nostalgia it evokes.
John is an under rated guitar player, he can flat out play and has some freaking soul! Both legends and just make the world a better place with their presence.
Thanks for the show, John. I was brought up with your music in our home and it was great to share this night in Tulsa with my mother. Billy Gibbons was the icing on the cake.
I swear, Fogerty doesn't age! Looks and sounds like he did 50 years ago. Consider... those 2 combined have been making a living, plating and singing for over 100 YEARS
Definitely TWO legends on one stage here. CCR/J.F. was my first favorite rock group starting with their very first album. ZZTOP helped cushion the fall for me when CCR disbanded. I bought their very first album too. AND every one after it. They both obviously were great here, but it's kinda comical watching them trying to fit into each others music. AND of course Billy always the comedian. Love & respect for the both of them.
Great jam with all the stops out so to speak! I loved this song and remember seeing CCR at Madison Square Garden in I think 1970? The drummer looked like he was going to smash those drums he was hitting them so hard The whole garden was on their feet and dancing many standing on the seats It seemed to go on forever and the bass seemed to vibrate right through my chest LOVED IT I was 19 years old I believe This jam gives a whole new feel and make the song sound like something new!!!!!!!!!!!! CLASSIC!!!!!!!!! and coookin'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On May 13, 1970 CCR headlined MSG concert. With Booker T and the MG's and Wilbert Harrison. They were also part of a huge benefit concert at Shea Stadium in the Summer (Aug 6) of that year.
IT just doesn't get any better than this... What a way to wake up on this Sunday, 11/8/2020, Keep on rocking John from a fellow Bay Area native... you are the best thing California has produced musically in the last century Brian Wilson not withstanding, but you Rock and Brian harmonizes...
si se hayan juntado credeence y zz top en sus tiempos buenos hubieran sido el grupo mas chingon de todos los tiempos saludos de guadalajara jalisco mexico
Good Lord, I hope John keeps doing this. The line-up around him right now is amazing. He looks and sounds so happy. I believe I read David Grohl is recording with him now? The music world needs to see song writers of this caliber,. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting this.

That’s AWSOME. Wish I could see that !!!
One of my all time favorites tunes, love the exchange between the two!
When the song starts out, Billy signals the bandstand like- OK I Got this groove..
