I wonder if the males are the only ones who grunt and stick out their tongues???? I've been trying to make that sound around my family. They think I've lost it but it makes me laugh😁😁😁. I love seeing and hearing bison!!!!!
The cows (Females) make little grunts, but I have never seen or heard them stick their tongue out like the bulls (males). But who know maybe the cows (females) do stick their tongue out and grunt like the bulls when fighting for who the lead cow (female) is. But all bison have deep grunts, not like yanagi19871 though!
