Thank you so much for this exercices !! I am going to adopt a 4 months old puppy from another country, he has 3 legs (1 front leg is missing after being hit by a car) and i'm looking for exercices to make him stronger, healthier and more confident. Can I do these with a 3 legged dog ? Besides, he seems to have severe carpal hyperextension on the other front leg. So I don't know how to treat both at the same time ... Can you advise me please ? Thank you so much for your videos, it's the second one I watch it helps me already. I'm going to binge watching I think haha

Take your dog to a vet and go see a physical therapist. You could injure your dog if you don't know what is going on with their body. The vet can find out what is going on and tell you what to do to make them better.

Does anyone know if these exercises are safe for an elderly dog with arthritis in the hips and lower bulging discs?

Hi, first I loved the video!
Do you have exercises that are specific to strengthen the back legs for a dogs that has both ankles ligaments broken? My dog has not had surgery, amd she is an English bulldog 2 1/2 years old, with moderate displasia.

Please take your dog to a vet! You might make her worse. She must be in a lot of pain, imagine trying to walk and move with your ankle ligaments broken.

What about senior dogs with weak hind legs? Does it need to be altered in that case?

Buy some cosequin joint supplements. My 12.5 year old retired service dog used to take it for her joints. She went to the vet many times for her pain and they gave her pain pills and steroid shots which only treated the pain, not the issue. So we found another vet and she recommended cosequin. After being on it for a few months, she was running around like a puppy again! She wasn't limping and she didn't have any down days. You could also try pivot training. Dogs don't know that they have back legs, so pivot training can be very beneficial. You could also try doing dog yoga and massages.

You could try using part of your dog's meal as a reward, that way he isnt receiving any extra treats, but still gets a reward!

Also you can get your dog low cal treats such as carrots or cucumber

Ask your vet to see how much you should feed them each day. For example, if they say to feed them 1 cup a day, you can put some food and treats into a measuring cup until it reaches 1 cup, then your dog will be able to have treats and food! If your dog likes vegetables, use dog safe vegetables. Stay away from carrots and fruit, they are high in sugar which can be dangerous for an overweight dog.
