fairy/steel types like tinkaton are very important for the first phase of the end battle because they cannot be hit by the two move that eternatus has in its first phase
Raichu is absolutely insane with Zingy Zap, it increases evasiveness with every hit, so if you use it 6 times you're at max evasion until your next trainer battle, absolutely broken, you just do not get hit
An exp all is a great item if you find one. Each exp all gives 20% of the exp the battling pokémon gets to non-battlers. So if you have 5 exp alls, your party pokémon should gain exp at the same rate as whoever is battling
i beat pokerogue a few times on classic now, here's my tips: 1: pick your pokemon wisely, especially if a rival fight is coming up (and especially for the grand showdown against eternatus, if you make it there) 2: you might be able to force your opponent into blunders w/ type coverage moves (ex: you send out a machamp that knows meteor mash, your opponent decides to send out sylveon instead only for it to get OHKO'd as soon as it takes the field) 3: grab X items if there's nothing good, or if a trainer/rival/elite 4 fight is coming up (they will help a lot!) ofc if something better is on the table (like an egg voucher plus) grab it 4: gacha machines. generally the shiny one is better imo (since every shiny on your team makes what items you get on the initial roll possibly be better) but if you see a legendary you want, try pulling for it 5: keep catching pokemon. especially if you're just beginning. you don't have to keep them on your team, but catch pokemon, you get candies for them (which can even get you their passives if you get enough of them) and maybe even IV improvements. that's all i got for now, but i guess feel free to ask if you're confused?
One of the best pokemons to get if you are lucky as a newbie is a gigantamax snorlax, Oh boy that big fat trunk is gonna carry you specially if you can get the macho brace.
I got a Chien Pao with near perfect IV's and Bitter Blade as egg move from my first epic egg and have been plowing through everything 😂 Almost beat Classic on my first time reaching Eternatus yesterday
I also got a chien pao with 3 max ivs and overall solid spread but is it really good? Cuz I can't use the ability "swords of ruin" since it's not in the game yet
If you can, fuse the chien-pao with mienshao, as it gets U-Turn, Fake out and regenerator, which go well with chien-pao’s high attack and speed stats to wreck eternatus.
Combee is also a good Pokemon to have in the back early on in the game because it can scale your money super well in the early game. IDK if intentionally catching a Male Combee is better since Vespiquen doesn't retain Honey Gather but I also don't know if money is as important in late game.
SPOILER ALERT DONT READ IF NOT BEYOND LEVEL 144 my tips: be ready to fight anything (have different type moves on your pokemon, even if it isnt stab for safety) be ready for level 145 and 195 with 145 having Rayquaza and 195 having mega Rayquaza always have a steel, especially a steel fairy ready for eternatis. my favorite is Klefki with levitate (passive) and magician
if u have pokemon beldum on shiny get it cuz if u potantialy go to last wave u have 0x from poison damge and 0,5x to dragon types so u can kill it more easly and if u have good ghost type with move curse u have another chances of wining
As someone who got started less then a month ago and is progressing steadily, my suggestion is to find a carry. Pick a pokemon that has a lot of potential and room for growth. while anything can be a carry, some mons have advantages over others. While i haven't used it myself, a VERY popular carry pick seems to be fuecoco, the little crocodile starter guy. :> Lastly, If you're not too prideful, you can always enable retries from the options menu, making the game less punishing and more relaxing as a whole.
you should try to get to wave 20 at least and hope for a gym trainer because when you first beat them you get a roll 5 eggs voucher. Then roll the legendary up Sacha and hope for an epic or legendary egg. Once you get a legendary or epic egg keep farming until it hatched and you will get something strong out of the egg that can carry you and help you beat the game
@@TheDodoKing i eventually did beat it with a Groudon I got in Legendary gacha, also a warning Shiny Gacha is rigged af. Me n my friends each pulled 100+ off shiny and didn't get one shiny, 50+ off legendary and I have four.
No one complete the clasic run on first try..even i just go as high as i can on first try just to catch more pokemon as starter..on my 5th run i already complete the classic
fairy/steel types like tinkaton are very important for the first phase of the end battle because they cannot be hit by the two move that eternatus has in its first phase
empoleon is disgusting too, since flamethrower is the only move that isnt resisted by it (and it is only neutral damage).
Adamant guts ursaluna just oneshots first phase lol
Raichu is absolutely insane with Zingy Zap, it increases evasiveness with every hit, so if you use it 6 times you're at max evasion until your next trainer battle, absolutely broken, you just do not get hit
Combine that with another pokemon with mud slap in doubles and raichu is untouchable
An exp all is a great item if you find one. Each exp all gives 20% of the exp the battling pokémon gets to non-battlers. So if you have 5 exp alls, your party pokémon should gain exp at the same rate as whoever is battling
Also you could also get the exp balance which does the same thing I think

Thank you so much for this video! Helped me out alot
moxie flamigo with floaty fall. carries to wave 100 and stays relevant till eternatus. no issue
taking starters that are good into eternamax and all the super annoying quadruple health bar type pokemon like nacli is really nice

Ooof that one is a beast, if you can teach him u-turn and has the healing ability its just autohealing

Even if you catch female combees, you can pause evolutions
same thing with cutiefly, which has honey gather and retains the ability after evolution.
I get stonewalled at floor 120 :( if i make it past 30 then i usually have no issues up until then, then i just get clapped
Play around immunities with status moves and set up moves like dragon dance
Beat the game at attempt 4.
Butterfree + a sweeper like gyarados is fokin free
I've found the meowth is a great pokemon to use early and is easier to farm, good recommendation!
Thanks for the video! Just curious, are you also Dutch?
Every run I have, I always find myself with only 2 exp all’s, this is my 12th run and exp is hard to come by
using shinies helps you get better items
How do you get 15 points to spend on starter
Its in endless mode! You unlock it after you beat classic mode
@@SquareRootOfPotato ook
Would orthworm be a good steel type too? And maybe magnemite, i have a rare shiny one i work with a lot
you can only go to luck 14 so take that in account when picking shinies
I use primal Kyogre and a fairy/steel type so I don’t get hit much
keep hatchign eggs until u get an epic or above and hatch it. I got an articuno and it carried through the whole game
I haven’t got past floor 150 yet.
How do you get 15 spaces?
It's only on endless

I’ve got to 195 and then I couldn’t win…
hey im new to the game what's the icon next to aipom??
If you're talking about the "starter select" screen, the capsule/pill icon means he has the hidden ability for Aipom
@@TiltedTowersWhimsicott thanks so much. I ended up figuring it out eventually caught a torchic with speed boost
I just beat it and then found this video xd probably would have made it easier

got a shiny rattata while watching this video thankyou streamer
How do you use the candies
ok but like...what about when you're just starting out? nothing teaches you you're bad at pokemon like this game...I have only gotten past 25 once

Also you can just refresh every time u lose
Can I increase my odds on finding a shiny and how?
Shiny charm if your lucky enough to get it.
Or using the eggs with shiny up
Pro tip- u can hit refresh on ur browser to start the battle over 😂
I'll hurt you
More of a pro tip: theres a litteral option to enable battle retries
Funny how I can tell you're a Dutchie

Picks pokeballs instead... Decent tips bud cmon lol
I'm here after my first run, I lost to my Ivy on level 95. My team was level capped but she kicked my ass.
Bruh, i died at wave 10 my first try 🙃

that ain't what they're for??title didn't say that did it💀💀
The title didn't mention beginner guide... Lol
You’re not supposed to clear the game when you first start bozo
Nah all the replies are wrong cause he 100% did not say multiple times that you shouldnt expect to beat the game on your first try
