so many amazing memories from this band, from being in the "fan club" in the 90's - to the 1992 ULU concert. 1992 Reading (with Nirvana) and then Melbourne last year - frikkin AMAZING! much love !
You came back and started making more music!!!! Thank you!!! The first time I heard your music was at the Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia, in 1991. Lush opened for you. I hadn't heard any recordings. Nothing. I loved your music from then on. If you come back to the States, I'll be there.
Always loved Ride....cannot believe how the "Ride Vibe" is still alive after all these years. Weather Diaries is such a fantastic record. Something to keep me alive a bit longer in this sea of $hit music. Shoe gazing? &uck that!! More like soul gazing. Bravo.
This is without doubt the best track off the album thus far. That riff reminds me of mid 80s era Cure. I'm on holiday in Santorini Greece right now and this song goes so perfectly with the scenery.
Amazing song and an amazing band. Far superior compared to modern shite that constantly pumped through the radio. Please dont ever stop making your music.
Ride are a new discovery for me, having heard them while watching Glastonbury on TV. I think this is the beginning of a new back-catalogue shopping list!
.....been waiting to hear Ride with todays production capabilities......yes....something beautiful in a world that contains wonders in every corner! This is human beings at their best! Seek positivity each and every day. Yes-the new Slowdive is straight from the Heavens!!! Get the album YESTERDAY!
Great recommendation. Thanks . I just listened/watched it and will add to favorites. Sounds amazing. They're at their peak here. So relaxed and in tune with each other. I saw them in Brighton December '94.
Old but new is what makes it great! They were awesome in Manchester the other night😜. Other bands from that era should take note of how to make a comeback with a blast!
i don't wanna discredit slowdive, the swervies and mbv, but the new ride-album ist the best reunion-result since a long decade. it's a masterpiece and definitely one of the best albums in 2017. love it so much....thank you.
I'll always love Valentine best. Killer tunes, and the icing on the cake is the *noise*. I love this Ride song too but compared to MBV everything else to me sounds so...smooth. Smooth is alright but I'll always love pretty melodies with noise best.
The vocal blend is flawless between Bell and Gardiner...production blending guitar pop and electro is a nice modern touch. Album sounds great! Friday...🏰
I don't know. Sometimes you wait for that moment during the day that sparks your enthusiasm, that wakes up your soul. It can be the right song, or the right sunset, or the right quote, or just the right thought. Each day has them, it's just that sometimes you have to look a little bit harder than others. Maybe the fact that you have to search for them is what actually makes them valuable. Today, that moment was when I heard Lannoy Point.
Shoegaze with a bit of an electro edge to it. All I Want does the same thing. I'm liking this production choice with their new album so far. (Please be good.)
ncmonnin id argue Quique much more inspired by Ambient Electronic / IDM than synth + post-punk but yeah they did both add heavy electronic influences into the shoegaze mix
A song like this after 20 years ... A kind of miracle
Ride on forever. We are blessed in the UK with great music like this
The British culture hasn’t produced any notable classical music, same with Jews and blacks…

Love that. Soul gazing ❤ so true
Couldn't put it better friend. Leave them all behind. X
With you mate, so little decent new music coming through but the likes of Ride, Richard Ashcroft, Liam G and James still keeping the music alive 👌👌👌
L❤VE that, soulgazing!
This is without doubt the best track off the album thus far. That riff reminds me of mid 80s era Cure. I'm on holiday in Santorini Greece right now and this song goes so perfectly with the scenery.
mistermyers777
But not too Curish. Just enough.
mistermyers777 summed it up perfect. Ashamed to say I heard this track for first time yesterday- blew me away- the riff is haunting
Santorini + Ride
Win win
Indeed. Plus that bass sound is defo reminiscent of 'The cure'.
'A Forest' for sure.
PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING MUSIC!!!
Amazing song and an amazing band. Far superior compared to modern shite that constantly pumped through the radio. Please dont ever stop making your music.
Ride are a new discovery for me, having heard them while watching Glastonbury on TV. I think this is the beginning of a new back-catalogue shopping list!
shoegaze will never die. Beautiful song!
Stunning stunning song. Up there with their finest work.
Well said Steve - powerful and emotive, can't stop listening to it!
Yep....great opener to a great album.
Steve Smith well said
agree with you wholeheartedly Steve!
It's good but Dreams Burn Down will probably always be my favorite, that and Kaleidoscope.
how genius they are when you can still produce a song like this in this era
THIS IS IT. You believed. RIDE is back.
.....been waiting to hear Ride with todays production capabilities......yes....something beautiful in a world that contains wonders in every corner! This is human beings at their best! Seek positivity each and every day. Yes-the new Slowdive is straight from the Heavens!!! Get the album YESTERDAY!
Hints of slowdive but with Ride's inimitable vocal harmonies. I dig it.
sounds great, welcome back Ride.
Love the album. Love this track.
One of the greatest Ride songs.

For the fans : The CPR's OpenAir live version is incredible too with an amazing sound !!
You can see Andy Bell very impressed at the beginning ...
Great recommendation. Thanks . I just listened/watched it and will add to favorites. Sounds amazing. They're at their peak here. So relaxed and in tune with each other. I saw them in Brighton December '94.

guitarra shoegaze y electro pop (creo). deliciosa voz. gracias por volver chicos y pasen por argentina.
no dejo de sorprenderme con esta banda...un tema mejor que otro..
The new material sounds incredible live, they've come back on such top form it's ridiculous......
Old but new is what makes it great! They were awesome in Manchester the other night😜. Other bands from that era should take note of how to make a comeback with a blast!
I heard this live like 3 weeks ago, this was the best intro for a show of all the time , felt like a different dimension
i don't wanna discredit slowdive, the swervies and mbv, but the new ride-album ist the best reunion-result since a long decade. it's a masterpiece and definitely one of the best albums in 2017. love it so much....thank you.
It's a shoegaze revival!
I'll always love Valentine best. Killer tunes, and the icing on the cake is the *noise*. I love this Ride song too but compared to MBV everything else to me sounds so...smooth. Smooth is alright but I'll always love pretty melodies with noise best.
Revolverbenny Swervies new one was my fav. Liked it better than MBV. Saw them in STL on their tour
They're back! Finally, I can be cool again.
Mat Setizar if you have always liked Ride you’ve always been cool mate
Yaaaaaaaaaaasssss! Absolutely magic. Can't wait for this album. Every tune I've heard so far has been superb. Thank fuck Ride are back!
Seeing them in Toronto: can’t wait. The beginning to this is absolutely KILLER!
this is not a classic reunion this is indie dynamite back from the old days !!! i think i'm in heaven!
This is just amazing
Saw the guys at their Village Underground show in London last night - Absolutely Brilliant! 10min version of Drive Blind. Man it was intense..
superb song shoegaze at its best #ride
So feeling this tune, for me its the synthetic opening chords that wash over the whole track 👌
Crazy good beginning to this track...the single guitar notes...then keys!!!!
Don’t forget drums and bass
great song seen this band live in the 90,s along with The Verve they were support
One of my Favourite Songs that resonates with my Soul and gives me the Gooseys everytime I hear it.

Stunning song that takes you to another place.... As good as when I saw them at Brixton Academy in 1992...
Stunning track.
Love this band!
Lannoy Point, a tower block in Fulham, was also mentioned in Alexei Sayle's book, Thatcher Stole My Trousers. It was demolished last year.
god i love listening to talented musicians
Magique!!!!!!
Seeing them in Austin, TX Tuesday the 2nd. Can't fucking wait! I love these dudes
I was at that show! At The Mohawk, right? Phenomenal night.
Fantastic album. My husband bought it for himself and I was pleasantly surprised. A must-listen!
Ride Forever in my heart & soul !!!
The vocal blend is flawless between Bell and Gardiner...production blending guitar pop and electro is a nice modern touch. Album sounds great! Friday...🏰

Wow, so great !!! unbelievable comeback !! So good like 80's !! incredible !!
Qué maravilla.
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

What a wonderful song!
This could quite easily be the best thing they have ever done.
their best work to date every song is wonderful
Stunning song!
Shoegaze with a bit of an electro edge to it. All I Want does the same thing. I'm liking this production choice with their new album so far. (Please be good.)
I enjoyed the Ride ! ;) Can't wait for the album.
Killer beginning....amazing end!!!! And, everything between!!!!
shoegaze, post punk, new wave, and reggae. An odd mix, but to me the best things my ears have ever come across.
You have just described the album Quique by Seefeel, contemporaries of Ride first time around. You should check it out if you haven't already.
ncmonnin id argue Quique much more inspired by Ambient Electronic / IDM than synth + post-punk but yeah they did both add heavy electronic influences into the shoegaze mix
great! i already loved the live version but this one sounds sweet as well!
Yeah, I think this is the first song off their new album that we heard. And it's still pretty awesome.
exately!
Congratulations, Ride. Amazing song, and the lyrics are very fitting with this crazy era.
U need to visit Australia 🇦🇺 again-Ur So LOVED here!!
gobsmacked..this is a work of pure genius musically..reminds me of the atmospheric early work.. unbelievable 😎
I hope for a new record soon!
Its just still so tight and got that catchy riff with the mood still in tact. Love it!
The new Ride music is like as PiL was for punk, but rising out of shoegaze. A new shoegaze.
And that's a good thing. I like it.
Awesome!
shoegaze central ✌🏼
great work - AGAIN, welcome back!!!!
Magic song, was superb in Melbourne!
Thank you Ride.
this song while driving at night !
That's true about their entire discography to be honest
