- Meghan Markle has one of the largest egos of all time I think? This is such a perfect commercial for Meghan Markle I think this is basically exactly how Meghan Markle sees the world and her self her the best beating the rest - and everyone focusing on her.

Reitmans is big in Canada (but like a step above Target as a clothing label). Everyone knew what Reitmans was - but no one in Canada knew who Meg was (or cared).
It’s funny to see this commercial with her dancing 😂 because that’s what she did at her wedding 😂 she picked up some low grade dance moves and danced with Harry just like she was doing a commercial on her wedding day 😂

Never saw these commercials either and I don’t believe the campaign was very successful. The women in the ad were motioning for the guy to check the label because the outfit was supposed to look so high end.

@Kathleen_Theriault I didn't think so. I had never heard of suits here in the US either. The USA network wasn't/isn't a popular network. It's so weird that no one knew who this woman was until she started dating Harry, but there were all these TV appearances and commercials from before she was with him. There's the Today show, Rachel Ray, Larry King etc. Plus, she was a member of Soho house, which I thought was pretty much only very famous or rich people. It just makes me think there was something shady going on. Like there is maybe some truth to the yacht girl stuff that allowed her to make these connections. And Spencer Pratt was on a podcast where he was scared to say too much about her bc he didn't wanna get in trouble, but he did say something about her locking a guy in a hotel room for 2 days and having her way with him. He wouldn't go further than that, but he was insinuating something nefarious.
In the Reitman ad, she must had all of the extensions in the salon added. Her hair isn't that bountiful.

I don't know, I just don't see any sincerity at all. Just by looking at her, one could tell so easily she doesn't want to be there, she's bored or annoyed, even angry? It just shows. There's many people who even called this out even before the wedding.

Yes, until I read the comments. “It’s Meghan Markle” - is the one being advertised.
The ad is not about Meghan competing with the other women. The point is that the women like her look/style. The other women want the man to find the brand name of her clothing so they too can dress well. She tells them “Ladies, it’s reitmans, really” so that the other women can also dress well. Reitmans is not that expensive, so that’s why she says “really”, like it’s unbelievable that you can dress so well on a budget.
The two girls are asking the man dancing with Megan to look at the label so they can buy the dress she's wearing and yes it's a terrible ad.

Reitman's did not disappear. The concept of her competing with the other women was an idea that she pushed.
She seemed to be doing quite well but she messed up the retreat. She turned and she’s supposed to be walking backward and she got too close to Harry so he had to step to the side when he saluted so he wouldn’t hit her. You have to stand on a spot and make sure you are precise.
But she probably did her best.
