Antepartum Haemorrhage - Placenta Previa - ( APH in Pregnancy in Hindi Lecture Part 1 OBG )

APH means Bleeding after 28 weeks of gestation and before birth of baby.
Causes - Placenta Praevia , Abruptio Placenta.
Placenta Previa is an abnormal condition in which Placenta implants into the lower segment of uterus which blocks the internal os.
Symptoms is Vaginal bleeding which is painless in nature and often occurs during sleep.
Mother after awakening found herself in pool of blood.
Management is based on duration of pregnancy and status of mother and fetus.
Cesarean delivery should be prefer over vaginal delivery in most cases because it is a safe method.
