It’s a latch that briefly locks wheel hub to wheel support arm to lift arm then it when pulled again releases wheel arm allowing plough to drop back into work it only works on land wheel hence cleats on steel wheel to give it drive ,check out video again and watch land wheels down rope Hope that helps
We are planning something like that for the future, but the idea of these videos is to be able to hear the tractors themsleves as if you were there watching them! But we will be producing fully narrated videos as well, hopefully later in 2024

That County was doing very well with it's 27 hp compared to the power of the other crawlers - lovely to see that HD6.

How is the plow lowered and lifted by rope?
There is a cam inside the wheel hub that lifts and lowers the plough each time rope is pulled
