I've seen the sarcophagus for $41.99 on BBTS. It comes with another chest, more elaborate than the one that comes with the figure. I recently got the Wolfman and it is badass.
This may be my favorite figure of the year already, both him and the Wolf Man released back in January here in the UK. Such amazing subtle paintwork on the heads, great likenesses, solid articulation, just a great figure through and through. I think the reason he only has right hands is because in the film we only ever see his right hand once he comes to life, we never actually see him walking around in the bandages since the film jumps ahead ten years and he's integrated into society by then. I also really appreciate the included wraps, pretty sure one is meant for being around his shoulders to recreate when he wakes up and pulls his arms free, and the other is for his ankle since we never see him walking, but we see the bandages dragging across the floor behind him, then again I have him with his arm out and it draped over his wrist.
I'm so disappointed that between a $40 Imhotep figure and a $40 accessory pack that they couldn't be bothered to give him a robe and an interchangeable head to have him as Ardiff Bay. With that said, the figure itself is pretty damn awesome and I'm sure NECA is going to reuse it for Karis, which is why they really should have gone all out for Imhotep to make him stand out.
I'm curious to how NECA will make the Invisible man, translucent plastic? They really got the fine details down on the mummy, the wraps looks so real. That sarcophagus costs 40 bucks on case you're wondering.
Really cool to watch! I love you keep showing Bucky Cap and Pizza Spidey for tradition! Also, the God in the chest is Ra, the one with the bird head. And the scroll is called papyrus. Only that much I know xD
I saw the movie long ago and from what I remember, his left hand/arm was always wrapped up and he always reached out with his right hand to get his victims

If I didn't catch your video in my feed, I would've never known it existed lol. You didn't put the word "mummy" in the title; so I can imagine you'd get more traffic with ppl searching "NECA mummy." Looking forward to watching the vid later to see what you have to say. Scoring it yesterday (and the Wolfman), I got nothing but praise singin' for the Mummy. You can easily tell it's the same dude under the makeup as the Frankenstein figure...so that's saying a hell of a lot. NECA _totally_ nailed Boris's likeness on both.
I never understood how this look was so iconic. Boris Karloff never once walked around like this in The Mummy at all. He was just shown very briefly in his sarcophagus like this. He’s a human the whole movie. Kinda like how everyone thinks Igor is Frankenstein’s assistant but he doesn’t actually show up until the 3rd film and is an antagonist to Frankenstein’s son not Sr.🤷🏻♂️
I put mine back in the box and this is awesome I don’t use the wraps but it’s cool he is my first neca monster besides raph and I hope they do the creature to out match my jada
All the articulation is very seamless are you kidding?!? That god-awful torso joint almost ruins one of my all-time favorite horror characters! It's completely unnecessary for this guy and if they HAD to give it to him, couldn't they have followed the lines of the bandages instead of the ridiculous arch shape they gave it?!? That to me is an absolute no-brainer! And WHY fgs, would they give The Mummy that ugly cut when Wolfman didn't receive one?!? The Wolfman is known to be in a crouching pose whereas The Mummy is a rigid, staggering zombie-type dude. Seriously, WTF Neca!?!?
