I met my colleague at the loading place and we decided to drive together. Both trucks are fully loaded. The TV stand is also rattling on the left, sry about that.

Franco96 GTA Yeah, I wasn’t paying attention and the alarm went off but I did the braking this time not the truck. Sometimes it’s too sensitive and brakes when it’s not neccesary. Emergency braking system and collision warning is standart since 2015 if I remember correctly.

It looks like the state of Pennsylvania where I am from in the USA. We don't have snow right near I am right now. Perhaps in the woods yet being it's March around maple syrup time for the northeast of our country from Main to Pennsylvania perhaps beyond to Maryland and Virginia.

Does this truck have an automatic gearbox. Watching these POV videos, these new breed of Scanias seem to drive more like a car than a lorry. Are they too powerful for the loads they carry?
It’s more of an automated gearbox, they are different from the traditional automatic because instead of a torque converter it uses a clutch and helical gears. It behaves and performs like a manual.

They should add paddle shifters in next gen Scania 😂😂😂 BTW does it shift down or up automatically?
Michael Janicki it will shift automatically if he let's it, but at intersections and especially if at an incline it has a tendency to stall. Plan your driving by looking ahead and anticipate what will happen and you will get a smoother ride and good fuel economy.

Nice Video, why do you shifting manauly?
TomRue 1:00-1:20 is the reason, why I’m shifting manually. I am at auto mode and the truck isn’t shifting. After that I switched to manual mode. Opticruise isn’t very good at shifting gears properly. And also my colleague stopped there because the gearbox could not decide which gear to be on.

I'm 19 and I am starting to drive a truck...
It depends how heavily you are loaded and how hard u can use it, you have to feel it. It can be dangerous and isn’t recommended to use it on slippery roads. Have to be careful with it.

Preference, I assume. Opticruise isn't perfect and can't always judge when it's best to shift.
