  • In this video we can learn that how we can design the internal thread in the bolt or any other components with the help of the all the commands in catia V5 like Pad, Point, C:helix { it is one of the main command which help in catia v5 to create the internal thread }, Slot { it will help to remove the extra part after giving the profile }, allow symmetry line and many more other features.

    In case you are wondering why your thread looks strange and twisted (and you get that warning message) - you need to define the drawing direction when generating the groove - it is the direction of the thread, e.g. the center axis of the helix or hole. Then the profile does not rotate during drawing.

    hello NG Zhongyan thanks for the comment your q is the tangency problem is showing in the message do one thing that check the sketching step once and see that the contact point is constraints or not.
