Absolutely the best comparison video(s) I've seen, Andrew. Bravo. I think the only thing you didn't comment on (unless I missed it) was the feel of the amp and its feedback to your guitar and fingers. This, of course, is the usual ultimate difference between valves and anything else! Keep up the great work.

Great playing in the outro! Quite captivating, now only three MV50s will be enough...

MV50 is the future of tube amps. We live in the new world where technology advances so fast. The result is MV50, Light weight and cheap. Yet it sounds amazing. If it had in 60s, I bet every British Invasion would use it.

We completely agree. It’s very difficult for us guitarists to take something so small and lightweight seriously. It will be interesting to see where we are in 10 years time...

Remember, the deacy amp is probably 5 time as big yet it is a solid state amp. Imagine all the thing Brian could do with this amp back in the day...

Thanks for your 3 videos comparing mv50 and ac30. I have a vox aga150 acoustic amp, great for electric/acoustic guitar. I have bought a semi electric recently and can get a nice tone through the aga150 as it is.
Looking at vox mv50 I wondered if I could play it through the speaker of the aga150 and get that meaner/ sharper electric guitar sound. That would save me buying a dedicated electric guitar amp and speaker all in one. The Aga 150 is a two way speaker (6.5 inch, 4 ohm and 1 inch 4 ohm dome tweeter). It has 2 quarter inch line in holes on back panel (left and right)
    Thanks for you help

Hi Andrew, I just discovered this great series comparing AC30 to MV50. Thanks for doing that. It would be awesome if you could compare a 90s English AC30 TBX vs the current Made in China Ac30c2x. Many people debate the differences - but there aren't any good comparisons on RUclips. Thanks again!

Hey man, nice video! Hope you can answer this Q... Have you found any problems with the 'NuValvle' technology as a result of playing the Fryer Treble Booster through it? I've played with an AC30 and the same treble booster but had to change my gigging rig as I was going through too many valves - as the Treble Booster completely pummels them! Interested to know if you'd have to replace the NuTube like the older valves!! If so wonder what the cost would be!? Love the sounds you were getting man... super cool... and would love to play the Fryer TB again! 🕊

Hi Andrew enjoyed the video. Just wondering did you have the gain on the Mc 50 up full?

      Hi!
The gain was on around 1 o’clock with the tone on zero (from memory!) I think the settings are shown on part 1.

Hi. If I sent you down a foxx phaser and a proper ce-1 would you do part 4? I'll want my pedals back after😀. The waza ce-1 mode is nothing like the original ce-1. It doesn't have the right chip or the input stage of the original.

Its hard to tell without hearing but its most likely a spike from the capacitors it wont blow your speakers, if its extremely loud them take your amp in for a service if it isnt then you are fine
