@@keandregreen5628 The Gameplay was way too linear compared to the previous hitman Games. Your disguises don't work at all, that stupid instinct bar fills up in seconds and your cover is blown. While the story and graphics are top notch, the gameplay was too restrictive which forced the users to take the narrow route.
Alot of people appreciate Absolution now I think. Sure it may not be the most non linear game in the series, but it does have a more personal story for 47, which also develops the character.
I haven't even played Absolution through yet & I'd argue that without Absolution, Hitman 3 wouldn't have been so good. There are some mechanics they decided to use in 3 that I've seen in Absolution as well as them taking 1 & 2 not as serious (story wise, like basically the story isn't needed to play it) then going all out on story in Hitman 3, the shootouts, the fuses also.
i like the fact that a lot of the targets where pretty dangerous to the player as well and where not just some npc's with more guards on there back like in the other games
By the way when I try to do that I try to do it in style and do hitman's deadeye thing I don't know what it's called but I just call it that but then I realized I couldn't so I just died and then I try to do it again but I keep on dying so I just did it the old fashioned way just shoot on the head and be done with it
You should have left Lenny's monologue on the mission end screen. His ranting after being left alone in the desert makes this the best kill in the entire game.

Which games are better? Which are worse? Idk, Hitman Codename 47 all the way to Blood Money Felt connected, Absolution was the oddball, though connected at well, just didn’t have the same feeling They all had their affect Hitman: Codename 47- Apex Predator (Thus everything seemed masterful and slower-paced) Hitman 2: Silent Assassin- Apex Predator Returns (Same as part 1) Hitman 3: Contracts- Master Predator (Things started feeling darker and more fast-paced) Hitman 4: Blood Money- Escalating Tensions (Things started getting real dangerous) Hitman Absolution- Assassin on the Run (Assassin Vs Assassins, things are as tense as ever!) Thus the heightened intensity of Absolution would come with the lack of “finesse”, as it pushes you to act faster, in more difficult situations! That’s how I see it at least
The vibe in this game is amazing, the crowd animations even feel more alive than those in the new games. But some of the maps are too small, should be great if they can make them bigger (not as huge as those in the new games).
Absolution was the best game ever to exist in hitman series, unlike absolution all the other series doesn’t even give you hint what to do you have to find out the situations on your own which sucks
Theres another way to kill sanchez. If you shoot and kill sanchez at the exact moment patriot punches him then everyone will think patriot killed sanchez. And you can escape quitely
I remember this and #2 and contracts. Played #'s 2 &3 back I n the day. Had to settle for watching others since. $500.00 for a machine and a game was is too rich for my blood. Shelling out $100 for the used x box plus a few used games best I could do and that was around 2003. Compared to the clunky mechanics of what went before? It was a good game. Holds up for what it was.
One thing i have noticed is alot of these fan boys cant see past certain things like the instinct bar etc and fail to understand the whole narrative of this game was 47 going rouge it was a chance to show his ruthless savage side where he cant be stopped hes a killing machine and yes they integrated older mechanics that didnt work well with the story they tried to tell reminds me of splinter cell conviction where sam was ruthless killing machine please nerds who cant comprehend this feel grass or expand your mind
I still don't know about the newer hitman's cuz I still don't know if it's like a reboot or remake of the original Three but I think it's reboot but I don't know still trying to figure that out but this game is my first one I've ever played which only played three and my favorite hitman as well
To me old Hitmans where more open then the last one with Scripted "story" kills that game push on you by making stuff easier and taking you hand by hand..
The new ones or feature master difficulty which gets rid of that, they is limitless ways to assistants in the trilogy’a the “story” kills are more of a little way to get some very cool and funny kills, I do agree though I wish they didn’t show every way to kill the target before it even starts
the game is just as open as the last ones, they just had a mission stories feature that actually further the story and add some dialouge esque cutscenes here and there
Valygar true the older ones had better gimmicks, I hate the disguises that any other person wearing the same uniform can see through it is annoying. That makes stages like the Library and the cemetery impossible to blend in they only have one or two disguises
Not worse. A predescessor. Without this you have no new trilogy. The hardware was limited and they put together a good narrative. Purist mode I think better name still then the mouthful...Silent Assasin, suit only. Purist says it all. Forces you to be stealthy and creative. If you don't want to play for perfection of a run, just rent and dump as we did back then, this game allows it. Not everyone had $150.00 to put on a game then. Hell finding crappy games at $80.00 the cheapest option. Paying $120.00 not uncommon. Dollars more valuble back then too.
