With everything that's happening in the world right now, and the change of seasons it can be so easy to feel unmotivated, and discouraged. Within this storm, we need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Don't let these things get to you!
Hebrews 12:2 - Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right side of God's throne.

I saw one of your first videos about how God provided you with the apartment of your dreams and at that time I was looking for a new apartment to move to and in a better neighbourhood.
God has done exceedingly, abundantly and above what I’d imagined. I’m currently in the process of buying an apartment in one of the nicest areas in Johannesburg. Glory be to God. Your video encouraged me to ask God for exactly what I was looking for without compromising. He did more than I could possibly imagine. I was not even thinking of buying an apartment. The price I got this apartment for was also crazy low for what similar apartments are being sold for in this neighbourhood. To whoever is reading this, God is able!
Thank God for this, I’m believing for the same.

Finally, someone is acknowledging that this war is hurting God as well. The God I know is a compassionate Father. Regardless of the sides people are taking, He is not happy that babies are dying, and mothers, fathers, or families are being destroyed. I pray for discernment, peace, and guidance for us all.

I like to think of winter as a Sabbath season where life slows down, we rest more and focus inwards and look to our Father. So winter is a gift from the Lord for us to stop from our busy routines. Since I see it like that I love winter and I am so grateful for it.

I love this! I really feel like God is calling me in this season to rest. Lately I’ve been feeling so overly exhausted and tired, almost as if God is trying to get me to slow down but i just keep going 😩

This is so very true! Winter is a time when things slow down and we get a chance to genuinely reflect and just be. If we can appreciate our lives on the days when don't have much, then we can genuinely learn to celebrate on the days of plenty, Spring and Summer...
I just bawl my eyes out last night and felt so overwhelmed I felt like my heart is being squeezed then this morning I was so disappointed on myself for not being able to wake up early to do my quiet time, I couldn't just have the motivation to spend time with the Lord. But look how He works! He really spoke to me through your videos. I don't have someone who is a true Christian here with me so I always go to youtube to inspire myself to keep going in this Christian life when others are pursuing worldly things. You are a blessing to me, sister Debs! And a lot of Christian youtubers. I'm going to set my eyes on Jesus now! He's got me, I dont need to fix everything because He's the Master Carpenter! Deborah, girl! I saw the title, and I was done! I've been struggling with that since I've quit my job to focus on school. And I'm thinking, “oh I got time.” And my sleep schedule has been wonky because I need to catch up! And I've been unmotivated because I just want school to be done. And Ive been shifting into being lazy. I just feel lazy. And Injust thank God, because He gave this word, when He didn't have to🙌🏾🤍🥹

Hey thanks heaps for your faith-based teaching Deborah, your genuineness and vulnerability. I grew up in a faith church that sadly has declined. With the decline I got into drugs and alcohol, and rejected God and his word. I listened to your history and sounded very similar to mine. I then got a revelation of his righteousness and got back into his Word. It’s so wonderful to see God has done something with your life! And you’re such a great example!
So now I feed off people like Ken Copeland, Jerry Savelle and Joel Osteen. These guys are amazing, and you speak the exact same faith and word based teachings like yourself, and it’s so fresh to see someone young who believes the same stuff!!!! I can now add you onto that list!

Deborah, thank you for your encouraging Faith talks video today! It blessed my soul! I'm praying for you as well. That the change in seasons doesn't inhibit you in your life and your ministry, but you govern yourself accordingly by reviewing your own videos to remind yourself what needs to be done to perservere and maintain your JOY! Also, I believe you mentioned once in your videos that you journal. Like king Hezekiah, in those times during these fall and winter months if you ever feel low, journal those feelings and lay them out before God and reference them in your prayers. It will be exactly what you need to say to God. Stay encouraged and God bless you 😊

I watched one of your videos about how God changed your life because I was feeling unmotivated. I felt like things have been moving slow but I realized I haven’t fully been putting God first. Then one day later I see this video pop up on my home feed. God is amazing. Thank you for this
Wow i needed this! The holy spirit speaks through you and you always amaze me with your execution!! You never fail!!
Absolutely true! Just this ending of October, the enemy dug a loophole by bringing in a guy from the church I fellowship in. So, he came so close suddenly but didn't like it, but I ended up losing focus as Peter did just some few weeks. Per what he came with I even tried helping him by praying for him and getting him close to Jesus, but it wasn't what I thought. I got convictions from the Holy Spirit and new this wasn't right, but I didn't let it get to me by the help and power of the Holy Spirit. He was so deceitful and for sure God has brought him down into his own pit of distraction (Psalm 55:23), Amen. But in all, everything is working for the good of me that love Jesus (Romans 8:28) to be firm, conscious and cautious so that when something like this pops up again, I'll be like "not it" for I've seen this before. it has to happen for me to foresee next time. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for this back up video through our sister in Christ. Greater Grace as always sis!

It challenges me in a good way that the object of my affection will eventually be the object of my attention,and thanks be to God for defining this clearly that it is nothing other than Jesus. I had a not so restful Sabbath because of problems in my house and I had to go to the hospital on Friday. It's crazy how I could cope way better than before because of how much I'm learning to trust God. The message in this week's video just hit me because I KNOW it's just unnecessary to feed into the things going on around me. It'll only ruin my peace. 💞💞💞💞 😓 God bless you all

It makes me smile, knowing, it's easy to get to the destination but hard work getting home. Just like life, our desires are so easy but the path back to purpose and God, although is the same, feels so insanely hard with winds and who knows what kind of animals out and about (both metaphorical and literal) 😅😂 but we get there eventually AMEN
Well needed, much love and appreciation. Having the opportunity of moving into a new home and being in an early stage of my life at the age of 23 and finally being done with my college program soon.I ran back into bondage of confusion and consuming anxiety… I’ve been stuck into such a dilemma but knowing I desire the truths of God. I’m glad I’ve came across this. I’ve felt shifted away but I know my desires are towards Father God.
You’re not alone 🤍 our Heavenly Father is right beside you. He knows what distracts you, what temptations call you in confusing times. Lay it all down before him. His love for you runs so so deep 🤍 I pray his peace and grace over you. May your heart long for him more and more every day!

Thank you for allowing The Word of God to flow through you. This past week at work was very challenging and when the weekend came I was so very happy to breathe from it all, however on Saturday I started to fine myself looking for things to anesthetize my feelings because I knew Monday was coming. In that instance I removed my eyes off God as if to say God I don’t want to bother You with small stuff when there is so many people in the world going through so much more. Today Through the Word of God and you Deborah as a vessel I am laying this before Our Father and putting my eyes back on Him and not my circumstances. Yes Monday is coming but HE has Already overcome whatever it is I am facing and will be with me through it. I know that was long but I pray encourages someone to know we can trust God with everything big or small HE IS ABLE!!!
I don't think I'll ever get tired listening to you speaking, your voice is everything. Deborah thank you for these faith talks, I guess it's safe to say that you made me see things and life differently and allow God to guide me.

I know my comment is long but this is just my testimony. After months of feeling lost, no job out of university, I felt like God abandoned me (when I know thats not true). And then i found your channel and the messages that you got from God motivated me to start trusting Him even more (even when I had some of the the worst days) and now, just like your apartment story, He is making waves in my life right now. Deborah this helped me a lot I realized I’ve been getting mad a lot with my roommate at college and letting what she’s doing get to me instead of focusing on God and what’s he’s doing in the midst of this🦋
It’s not easy sometimes to shift our focus sis! But recognising what’s stealing your peace is already half the work done. Definitely shift your focus onto the Lord within this. Ask him to help you be patient and kind to her throughout this 🥰

November reminds me that the Advent season is close.
The world is probably more fragile now than at any time since the early 1960s. We need to have faith that everything is happening for a reason and that ultimately we are heading towards a new age. Things must get worse before they can get a lot better. 🙏
