What's something mindblowing that you know about the universe? I know this seems like common knowledge but the fact that the entire universe was basically 'born' with the Big Bang is absolutely fascinating for me. I can't wrap my mind around the concept of something (or nothing) being there before the universe came into existence. Also what will be there after the universe dies? This is the perfect music to help me reflect about stuff like this. I hope it can be for you too ☺
Its size. Humans cant even dream of getting out of the solar system, but compared to our galaxy or the universe even that huge distance is nothing. We are so small... Ants on a big rock traveling in a big universe.
@@The_Entropist If we're not fond of asteroids or climate change, why embrace this apocalypse and try nothing? Shouldn't there be an entire field of science trying to figure out how to survive indefinitely or find out why an initial "source" of low entropy even existed in the first place? It's terrifying how this isn't seen more urgent or serious given the implications
Isn’t it funny how we humans refer to the universe as “up there”. Like away from us, something we can’t touch. Sometimes we do forget that we are up there. We are here. We’re just up here on a cute little rock.
Because we aren’t up there the world has us locked in place here and we will live all of our lives in that so called cute Little Rock anything you ever done in life has been here and none of us will have any impact in the universe therefore it will always be out of reach
@@subnio5976 We are up here..on a floating rock. I believe the universe will never be out of reach because we exist in the universe, and we are it. Thank you for sharing your take on existence.
This popped up in my feed just at the right moment. I've been really missing my best friend who passed away from suicide last year. We both loved listening to your channel when we'd get high together and contemplate life & the universe. I know he's still with me but he's been able to join the spirits and spread his joy there instead.
With all the disheartening things inherent to this period of time in the world, one thing that really encourages me are all the people that want to share their knowledge, experience, wisdom, and artistic effort on YT for little to no financial gain. Half the comments on here are the artists that created this music expressing gratitude for being included. That really struck me. My thanks to all of you, and of course, Sheepy.
Time to look forward! I will be releasing so much music this year and this is just the perfect beginning. Thank you Sheepy and happy new year to you all ❤👑
OH MY GOD. I remember falling asleep to your channel around age 17-19 or so. I randomly remembered you and searched for you I FOUND YOU. and now I’m 30 and I’m so happy you are still making content+music and it’s as amazing as ever.
i love it when we get these mixes with ambiguous titles, it makes us take some time to listen and see whats hidden inside. looking forward to this one :)
I started listing to chillstep when i was 13 now im 26. Its great to see so many familiar talents in this mix. When i cant get peace of mind these songs and mixes will fix that! Keep it up MrSuicideSheep and all the producers 🙌
Heck if I remember how long ago I subscribed, but I'm old, and I subscribed to your channel among my very first! I'm answer to what's mind-blowing about the universe, here's my statement: Whether you think it all came about from a big bang, or the voice of a God, faith is required, because in both views, everything came from nothing but "sound". Keep bringing the sounds!
Infinite Elation was your absolute. Timeless. Nothing will ever come close, ever. That was fundamental life experience , like watching Lost. Yeah, definitely hearing those old notes and echos of feeling that special way that really defined my formative years that nothing else has captured to date. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without that mix. Like a coming of home but a drive to the future. Anyone who says life has no meaning and that we’re here by chance are crazy- the universe can’t help but brag.
Black holes don't actually suck a lot of matter into their centre. They make it spin faster and faster as they get closer to their centre, but they aren't hoovering up everything around them at a rapid rate.
This is such a long shot but... this channel uploaded a song like 10 that's sampled some Kirby sounds (I know that probably doesn't narrow it down at all lol) and it had lyrics along the lines of "he told me shake it / I told him 'no' " and "I turned around and I dropped him to the floor" wish I had a better description and who the producer/dj was. Still holding out and hoping it will ring a bell for someone.
This just popped up in my recommended randomly at 5am. Took me right back to 2012, me being in high school and coming home excited every single day to hear the new uploads from you sheepy. I still fondly listen to artists like Blackmill because of you. This mix scratches that itch. Thank you.
In regards to the question in the pinned comment - First, bear in mind Neil deGrasse Tyson says it FAR better than I can, and I'm paraphrasing. The gist of it is this; within the molten crucible that is the heart of a star, the building blocks for life(as we know it) are created. When a star reaches the end of it's life and goes nova, those building blocks are scattered across the cosmos. Eventually, whether by the hand of the divine or fate or pure random, those blocks came together and life emerged. You, me, and everyone who's ever lived, share a common ancestor with the stars in the night sky. We are, quite literally, star dust. Descendants of some of the most powerful, destructive, and BEAUTIFUL things in all creation. Carl Sagan once said "Life is the Universe's way of looking at itself." Given that we are born of star dust, he is right. WE are the Universe. And the Universe is us.
@MrSuicideSheep How are you doing? I hope you've been fine and kicking. 😊 Please, may I know why you stopped posting short music tracks on your channel? I used to come here to listen to new songs like the NCS channel too. But that changed since this year 2024. I no longer see short releases from artistes here.
More of this ph my gosh. More dark Passion mix... More. Burning snowflakes... MORE PLEASE THANK YOU! Been here for a decade or something and not ever leaving

nothing, the universe started with fire and will end in ice

When a mix starts with Cosmica, you know you're in for a ride
Honestly, I've been vibing out to this mix while doing a late night study sesh
The absolute best love it, especially “Eden”
It's been a hot minute for me. Thanks.
three mixes back-to-back sheepy what ever did we do to deserve you?
Love the ohm horn sounds at the beginning. I think it's similar to what i remember heaven sounding like.
The ticking/metallic sound at 1:06:00 pulled my mind back from somewhere. It's hard to describe, but it was very grounding for some reason.
The feeling is back🎉❤
Ahh new mix 😭😭 I’m so excited right now I’m jumping
Listening to entirety of this, almost over, think I’ll play it again. ❤
That mix is a pure gem
star gazing indeed. Love the depth and feel of the music here.
Oh man this is so soothing, thank you Mr Sheepy ❤
That transition at 1:05:06 is true bliss
Dude. That first song is absolute gold.
Thx for the og style mix; we appreciate it/you 💚✌️🩵

I think you're gonna need to explain that one a bit haha, took me a few seconds for it to click and I'm a science nerd
I subscribed when you uploaded Digidrop by Rameses B. That track is still an absolute banger.
That's a pretty rad meteor shower they're watching. Hope I see one that good someday.
