Because in modded the Items don't have as much value then in Official servers and I have been called a cheater many many times (back in old recoil though). never assume someone is cheating, maybe he is playing 16 hours a day. like I did.
3 am? more like 6 am middle of the week so there is a very small chance anyone will log-in, the one thing i learned while playing is to go sleep early and wake up early so i can deffend an online raid, instead of sitting whole night going to sleep in the morning and coming back later to cleared tc

I love watching Rust youtubers, so I decided to give rust a try this week. Logged into a server; got immediately mauled by a bear. Laughed it off. Respawned, made it to a little settlement thing, got about 2 chests looted before I got one shot by a dude with a shotgun. Ok then. Tried to be slightly more tactical and made my way into some woods off spawn site, and got eaten by 3 wolves. Spawned again, and 3 naked's in a party just mobbed me immediately. Respawned again, ran to a town; found a bow and some arrows and got jumped by a dude with a rifle. Respawned again... tried running as far as I could, and some doofus in a mini helicopter saw me, went out of his way to turn around and land and then rifled me. Respawned again near this weird bog area; looted house one fine; scouted the area best I could, but soon as my body touched water I had a dude jump out with a crossbow and merc me. In my 38 minutes of playing, I managed to die 15-20 times and accomplished ABSOLUTELY nothing lol. Hats off to you guys that have the patience for this kind of gameplay, but Im pretty ok with saying its not my cup of tea haha. Definitely a "skill issue"; but Ill sleep just fine tonight with that knowledge hahaha

the hardest part of the game is between getting a full wood base down, and upgrading it to stone. You might as well give up if you log off with any wood in place.
When... after planning for days, and the three asshats show up, (always one smart guy and two dumbasses) and you're fighting your heart out for hours, every trap doing its thing, but you're still dying and running in, digging up hidden satchels you carefully placed everywhere... til you're just out of everything, or that screenshot map you made, is probably not the most up to date. And now, you have nothing, including clothes, but you have one machine gun left. The base is smoldering. The other two asshats are just gone...and the last asshat is leaving with what little he ended up with in some helicopter they must have showed up in, that you never saw... and you just spray and pray into the air, but nothing hits... and the guy just... lands. He walks up in his hazmat, which wasn't what he showed up in, casually, as if trying to just process what happened over the last hour, and you have nothing to say. And neither does he. You just both stand there, uncomfortably. Awkwardly. You wonder if he's going to be cool about this... maybe he'll show a little appreciation... or sportsman like conduct like we were taught as kids... which always the last thing you think, before he shoots you point blank, cuz, It's apparently your fault that you wasted his afternoon, and as you lay dying, he just ... hovers over you like you're a bug being examined under a microscope, and in the most empty voice, he says "Dude... I'm not even gonna lie." he pauses then says... "But you... have to be... the worst.... player... ever." *BANG!*
Get all the way to an airdrop for a swapped hemp seed. Dude prefires a hill youve been crouched behind for 10 mins the very second you come over it. Theres good times too tho. Got raided by spoon my second day in after watching him for years 😂
Its was very light version.. you missing parts where player can disconnect you remotely or losing base you built days in minutes during offline cheater raid.. or admins protecting cheating friends...
as a rust player I approve of this trailer. only issue. wheres the offlines. and when raiding wheres the whole clan all logging on and coming to counter.

played rust on a new pc, i peak only 70 fps on high settings, begs the question if the game is optimized.
I play around 110fps on wipe and in 2 days its down to 80fps and thats without taking into facts if im shooting orgetting shot lol
