One of the greatest things about NBA live was like you could play these games and you could get rewards like a New Jersey or a new customizable logo for your court as you played. There also wasn't any microtransacrions as far as I can remember. Or there wasn't any need to buy any micro transactions to level my my player up to level 99 or whatever it was.

I enjoyed the years of 2K where i was able to make 5-6 builds without breaking my pockets. . I made two builds in 2K23 and both aren’t even fully maxed because 2K is so damn money hungry I can’t even enjoy maxing a variety of builds. . 2K would make more money if they lowered the price to max builds. . They would make their money with giving us a WIDE variety of builds to create. . I hope NBA Live does compete but tbh i lost faith in EA back in 2012. . They need a new engine that gives us realistic player movement & accurate sizing of the players. . I don’t think thats coming anytime soon

Nba live 19 had a lot of things that would be wayyy better then 2k if it was build upon. The way you level, the defense, the career mode ect.. live has a lot of potential so here's to hoping it's continues with live 23

The thing I like about NBA Live is that very piece of clothing moves as you do. Even online. Pants, shorts, jerseys, T-shirts, long sleeves, everything. Why 2K hasn't done this is beyond me
NBA live just needs to have something somewhat good come out, doesn’t have to necessarily be better than 2k. All it has to change from the old nba lives is give the game more animations and more options in the gameplay so it will go stale way later than if you didn’t do that. Because whenever the nba live 18 and 19 dropped people lowkey were playing the heck out of it. It just didn’t have enough content in the gameplay to keep them playing.
EA also teased but didnt announce a college basketball game in march of this year. It could be NBA Live 23 or a College Hoops game, which a ton of people have been waiting to see
Besides the graphics (player models specifically), the later releases from Live weren't all that bad. Isomotions/dribbling movements were all high key for me and even better than 2K imo...but then u shoot and it just don't feel as satisfying or rewarding as 2K. That nuance of timing different shot types from different players lack, which makes it feel quite generic. Overall tho, Live was a pretty solid game. I'm looking forward

NBA Live was the shit back in the 90s 2000s, was always the superior franchise over 2k. I remember playing Lakers vs Celtics back in the day before there even was a 2k. Hopefully NBA Live makes a strong comeback...

I've played 2k since it first came out, it started sucking pretty badly around 2k18. I have never spent 1 cent on in-game play. It takes forever to level up your guy in the career mode, but fu*k if I'm giving them any more money. I may make the switch to live (which I used to play back in the day as well) when it comes out next year.
Im officially done with 2k, this new badge system is ass bro. They are literally forcing us the consumer to LOSE badge progression. That way you spend more VC on your builds. This should be f*kin illegal in some consumer law. I just want to enjoy the game and 2k is taking advantage of its players

If they lowered that to 20-30 I’d have bought it 100 bucks worth already. But buying it once makes me never wanna buy it again and literally suffer in the boredom of mycareer instead.
