one character that I found really interesting was of Kumar Verma.. at first i thought he was just a comic relief but with time his character was developed so beautifully. loved that scene where bahubali helped him believe in himself and finally find his strength. And I loved the movie!

But it turns out that his brother's son ( Bhahubali/Pandavas) is far more worthy to rule. A righteous queen(Kunti+Gandhari/Shivagami devi), a righteous elder/server (Kattappa/Bheeshma). Also a damsel in distress (Draupadi/Devasena) waiting for her revenge. Only thing new here is his son coming back to avenge.
Yes she is right. Bahubali is similar to mahabharata. Her logic is absolutely right. If u know mahabharata properly u can agree with this statement that bahubali is inspired by mahabharata the story of a war between cousin brothers for the kingdom. A total internal war story between a family.

And it becomes the de-facto reference for any other epic movie they watch. Be it Mahabharat or Ramayan or Maghadheera or Bahubali - it all looks like "300" to them. And that's a real shame! I wish 300 had even a tenth of the storyline of any of these Indian epic movies. To put it bluntly - "No sir, not all Indian epic movies are borrowed in one way or the other from 300. 300 sucks! In fact 300 could learn a few things from these movies. Next time, please find a better Hollywood reference point to compare to".

CGI is time taking process. i think they improve those shots in movie. on the whole trailer i find only 2 shots are below avarage 1. that twist in the air after sliding.. jaby mentioned 2. soldiers running in at 2:02 ( in this reaction video ) overall outstanding trailer.. haters are too nitpicking about those 2 shots... and saying cgi not great..

FYI: the whole story line of a baby raised by others who is actually royalty is part of the Indian epic history in Mahabharata in Bhagavad Geeta, predating the bible for thousands of years. It's much more likely to be taken from there than from anything in the Christian bible. Check out Karana, who, as an adult, unknowingly fights his brothers the Pandavas in the war of Mahabharata. Oh, and the prodigal son, another Christian story, was an adult who knew he was royalty and chose to leave that life to go out into the world...a bit like Buddha, but without the enlightenment. So not relevant to this story line.

This is a dubbed hindi version. Though you don't get any indian languages, some legends like Ramya Krishnan have great voice. Hence choose either the tamil or telugu version instead of hindi or malayalam which were just dubbed ones!

Hey Jaby & Achara, small suggestion... before you guys do any reaction, you could just wiki it and get details of its origin, as in, the language the movie is originally made in, and react to its respective trailer because there is a lot of internal fights going on between states of India, regarding which film industry is better (nothing wrong with a little competition among ourselves) So, this movie is a Telugu movie, dubbed in other regional languages. It would have been better if you reacted to the Telugu trailer. And also, the feel is better when its in the original language. Just because am pointing out this doesn't mean I am from AP or TS (Telugu speaking states). This way, even your western audience might come across certain Indian films, and they will know Bollywood isn't the only film industry in India and the credit should go to where its due. small suggestion... before you guys do any reaction, you could just wiki it and get details of its origin, as in, the language the movie is originally made in, and react to its respective trailer because there is a lot of internal fights going on between states of India, regarding which film industry is better (nothing wrong with a little competition among ourselves)
So, this movie is a Telugu movie, dubbed in other regional languages. It would have been better if you reacted to the Telugu trailer. And also, the feel is better when its in the original language.
Just because am pointing out this doesn't mean I am from AP or TS (Telugu speaking states).
This way, even your western audience might come across certain Indian films, and they will know Bollywood isn't the only film industry in India and the credit should go to where its due.

Before the release of Bahubali 2, I was part of the movie press back then. So, I was with all the cast and crew including the director and all lead actors. I took pictures with them and it's on my Facebook profile. I bombarded them with several questions, at Rajamouli, Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannah and all of them. It was a great afternoon here in Chennai.
