I'm good friends with Lawrence Bedford who owns the Rio and also Adam who owns and books the Crepe Place which is a smaller venue but the unqualified heart of independent music in Santa Cruz right now. National bands play there all the time. Additionally we have a band called Done Beginner that has a really decent draw in this area.
