    My life is forever changed from what i went through being locked up as a young man and, later as an adult. So many people ask me why I don't go out and do normal things. I can't explain it to them. ONLY those that have gone through it truly know. Respect to those that have made it through and aren't 100% animals now.

    1090 J, you are a real one. To know that this even happened in a jit camp, not even prison, under surveillance, is awful. PTSD, shell shock, battle fatigue, is real. Being a veteran myself, there are some things that you wish that you can unsee and undo, but it is what is. The suffering that many are going through, is an awful feeling and I am praying for everyone. I'm not an advocate for violence, but sometimes you do what you have to do. Keep doing your thing, and thank you for sharing your experiences. I know it takes a lot to share these stories.

      FREE RADIO it does man. These kids out here today wanna be so hard. Not realizing that hard is getting up and going to work, finishing school, living right, and being a decent person when no one else will. Being the role model they didn’t have. It’s sad bro. Idk if you check hoodvlogs out on here. It’s a dope channel. The one he put out yesterday (among so many others) show the mindset these kids are in today. Sad cycle those guys are in. Don’t get me wrong either, I know sometimes there’s not a lot of choice but at a certain age you gotta wake the fuck up. • @bentontruff662
      @bentontruff662 5 лет назад +4

      @@redvorchannel That's pretty much how I feel lol. I've had to do 24 hours and 48 hour stints in county, an I'm always starving when I go in. Cause your either going in starving or you eat a shit ton before, an then god forbid I've got to take a crap while in there lol.
      If it's controllable time, where you set the date to check yourself in.
      Long as it's just a day or two, I'm good and literally just counting the hours trying to sleep through the whole period. An it still feels like, _"I'm FINALLY out and can worry about everything else later"_ when you are released.
      If its more then a week, you're eventually going to have to take and crap and a shower. An anything 30 days or less isn't that bad, I can at least anxiously count down the days which will soon enough turn to hours. But yeah anything over 30 days sucks and anything over a year or more smh, an I'm not even seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. At that point it just becomes your every day life and routine. Even just doing a few weeks has an influence on you, you come out talking and acting a little different. Within acouple weeks you've already met people and pick up habits or learn little jail house tricks, an become a little more comfortable and situated.

    In my whole time on youtube I've rarely ever felt compelled to leave a comment so here goes nothing.
    First thing first I'm proud of you for deciding to take the right course of action in life and for having the bravery to publicly speak about the experiences you've had in the penal system. It takes bravery to put your self before thousands of faceless judges hidden behind the dim blue light of a computer monitor. I'm glad that you've decided to share your experiences with the world.
    Bringing attention to the injustice is a positive step, but not the only one that can be taken. Have you ever considered filing a Lawsuit of your own against the FL DOC? What you've described to seems to me at least (I'm no lawyer to be clear.) to constitute a violation of Eighth amendment. The Florida bar require their lawyers to do a certain number of Volunteer hours, I'm absolutely sure you can find someone willing to hear your case. The FLDOC will not change unless a massive amount of legal pressure is applied. You have the connections to people who are currently in the penal system, and to people who have left the FL prison system
    If you don't trust the American legal system and don't wish to go this route. Please at least consider filing a grievance with the United Nations Humans Rights Council(UNHRC), Or Amnesty International.
    As much as I respect you are still only one man, battling a Goliath. Every human being on this planet Deserves to be treated with a level of dignity and respect. Their are organizations dedicated to this principle that can help you, but they cannot help if they don't know you exist.
    Below I've left a link to the ACUL FL branch, the UNHRC and amnesty international. If you had the time to read my comment thank you.

      Iamnotrealify In my experience it’s rare for any of those organizations to take on an issue like this...even though you’d think completely the opposite. I’ve tried to get help from the ACLU for a similar situation my son has been in for the last year.....I never even got a reply. I’ve contacted State and US Representatives and Congress members and the Governor. The few that replied punted the situation right back to the DOC....the organization that’s the root of the problem. No one wants to deal with the problem or even admit there is a problem.

The psychological effect was still very hard to get over. Made mistakes and paid for them but what's really unfair is the consequence never ends.... that felony effects your life FOREVER. 11 yrs out and I've finally got my life back together but I still have to work lots of low paying hours to keep a roof over my head because of felonys I caught in early 2000's. We should be helping those who WANT to change....change. peace

    This is so infuriating to know that this is happening because of the corrections officers, and in facilities that are meant to rehabilitate people. Beyond that you have all these people that scream "2nd amendment right to bear arms" and yet people are silent on this very evident cruel and unusual punishment against children no less.

    He's speaking truth right here. Depending on what state you do your time the violence varies greatly. If you're a young 18-22 year old multiple it by 10. Florida probably has one of the tougher systems in the country.

  • @joshmocherman5528
    @joshmocherman5528 4 года назад +1

    Bro, you speak so much fuckin truth it ain't even funny! I've been watching video after video of yours and I agree with just about everything you say. I did 3 months in a county prison in Greensburg, PA. Westmoreland County Prison to be precise, and it was nothing more than a glorified daycare. I couldn't imagine the shit that you had to deal with down in Florida! I don't care who has done 5 years here, or 10 years there, or 25 years at the third place, until you deal with the shit you've dealt with down in Florida, you haven't dealt with shit!
    Keep pumpin out the great videos you're posting bro! The information you're giving is as real as it gets and you, my friend, are as solid as they come! Congratulations on 100k subscribers!! Much love and much respect!!

    You are a great storyteller! It is sad that guards are letting this inhuman torture to happen. It is cheaper for people in Florida to weed them out and humane also. I also think that this kind of torture should be really punished.
