Yeah it's a backup sight for engaging close range targets. There is an A1 scope with picatinny rail so you can slap in a red dot sight if you so choose.
This is bullshit. I fired the gun a lot (also like 100 shots+ in a very short time) and although it is true that after heavy firing you can feel the heat radiating from the barrel, as long as you dont put your hand directly on the barrel it doesn´t hurt you in any way. I guess the reason he is putting his hand that way is because it is easier to aim the gun because it is closer to the center of gravity, however it makes a follow up shot harder as you lose controllability. But thank you for sharing your obvioulesy non-existing firearm expertise!
So with the AUG the center of gravity is where you hold it with your dominant hand (right below the trigger; sorry for my lack of technical terms in english). having to extend your arm up to te foregrip is a little harder for longer periods of time than just supporting the gun with both hand below the center of gravity where he is holding the gun at some point of the video. But as I said, it also reduces stability while firing a lot. And I did not come up with this a lot of people i know prefer to fire the gun this way.... I hope this cleared things up :)
@@TheAustrianOwner While Jake Metti is clearly speaking shit, I am not sure that 2 points of contact on the COG are going to aid shooting, you are just giving the gun a handy pivot point to accentuate recoil with each shot. The guy doing the shooting is quite renowned for his awful form when shooting, it is clearly just someone they go in to do the video!
You mean austria ? austria have very cool gun laws. you can have pistols, semi auto for homedefense etc. you dont need a permission for shotguns and rifles...one of the best gun laws in europe.
CS:GO's AUG is an AUG A3 with an ACOG x4, funny though, it only magnifies up to x2. EDIT: The Killfeed Art for the AUG is also an A1 like in Source and 1.6, but it's an A3.

スタイリングが素晴らしい。オーストリアの傑作。近未来的でカッコいい。俺が中学生の時にガンマニアの知り合いがエアーガンだかモデルガンたが忘れたが持ってたな。今からかれこれ40年近く前だ。あれで初めてブルパップ式という機関部をグリップの後方に移しストックに内臓して銃身全体を短くしながら銃口までの長さは稼ぐという方法を初めて知った。マガジンはグリップの前にあるもんだという自分の固定概念を吹っ飛ばした。ついでに軍が採用するのは無骨で頑丈そうな物ばかりだっと思ってたからまさか軍が採用するとは思ってなかった。当時の自分にはどう見てもSFっぽくて実用性のないおもちゃにしか見えなかったよ。登場してからずいぶん経ってるけど今でもスタイリングは一番カッコいいと思う。
