Pebeo drawing gum is my favorite. Thanks for the demo on the ruling pen. I’ve been wondering how they work. Tools used for fingernail decorating can also work well. Try not to shake your masking fluid. It incorporates air bubbles into it and can cause it to dry out in the bottle and ruin it.
Also, I was warned by Cheap Joes art store staff, that the bottled ones must be stored upside down or it solidifies in the jar after it has been open. They actually store their stock upside down to emphasize the importance.
Maybe? I don’t typically watercolor on non-watercolor paper though so I don’t think I’ve tried since I’d like the paper to be able to sustain the water.

Thank you for sharing this information.
I recently learned you can use a dip pen to apply masking fluid, similar to the ruling pen
It's worked pretty well for me so far!
That’s wonderful!
Great advice ❤
Does any of these work on none watercolor paper? I've heard of them ripping the paper.

So what are the nonlatex brands? Serious latex allergy here.
I did a blog/community post here on RUclips earlier today. Pebeo is one brand that has several options.
cool!
I like using Masking Powder from Renesans
Oo I’m not sure if I’ve tried that one!
