I love the new cover pics you’re using and agree that they would help with traffic to your videos. I myself only like stitching full coverages, so prefer to watch people who focus mainly only on them
Thanks for the info Karly! It's not difficult to make the thumbnail and it's better than the unflattering screenshots YT picks, or just using one of my WIPs as a screenshot.
What an awesome update! I really enjoyed seeing your projects. I also loved the suggestion on the thumb nail. Very thoughtful suggestion. Hugs!~Stephanie
Just finished up watching this one ahead of March one. I had to comment on the beautiful HAED Nebula pattern. It's stunning! And you have such a sweet look on your face while you look at it 😊😊😊 Something to dream about starting!
I’m really looking forward to the progression of your US travel shelf. It’s on my list to do. Not many people have done that one. The colours look super vibrant on it. You’ve got so many fabulous full coverages.
Wonderful start to the new year of stitching! I love numbers, too, and writing stuff down. Great haul from Walmart and HAED. Have a great February of stitching. ❤
How was I not subscribed to you already!? Amazing pieces and I love that you have so much progress done on them! 👏👏 Yes, the thumbnail definitely drew me in! 😄
Great to see you and your progress Kim😃. You sure did get a lot of stitches done🎉. Loved hearing about your tracking process. I love numbers too. You sound so much more upbeat, which is wonderful to see. Have a great February, and stay safe🤗🇬🇧
I’m sorry you’re not sleeping much. I always get so tired excited to see a new video from you and totally fan girled when you subscribed to me lol! That is so impressive with your orts!!!! Mine just go in the trash 😂
I trashed all my orts too until I got the lamp. I know some people make xmas ort-aments but that didn't interest me. I watched your last video but didn't comment yet - was surprised to hear you're a fellow Michigander! ❤️ Lovely progress for everything you have going on in life.
I'm stitching the events on FCF too!!! I see your horses all the time! I didn't realize you had a Flosstube!!! How you don't have 10k subscribers is beyond me! RUclips recommended your channel to me today... I'm stitching on Aquarius for a lot of the events... I'll see you on Facebook!
Hey Janet! I probably fell off the radar after 2 yrs of not posting videos but I've been back for a year now (but monthly instead of weekly) so we'll see how the numbers grow. Hope you like all the FCF events!
I agree about the thumbnail! There are people I scroll past because the thumbnail is the same for every video - a solid colour with writing. I have recently subscribed to 2 people who have identical thumbnails for every video (From their WIP parades) and I have to force myself to watch them when they pop up in my subscription feed. It doesn't have to be fancy, but just give me something!
Editing pics in the body of the video is more work but the thumbnail is easier for me because I can make it while the video is uploading. Thanks Rebecca!
Yep, thumbnails are important. I’m not into samplers/prim and I want to at least have an idea of the stitchers style by scrolling the thumbnails. There’s 2 videos in my queue where the thumbnail is a colored background with writing. 1 I know is a user I like, 1 is new to me to try. But having 10 projects in the thumbnail can make it messy looking too, so 1-5 projects to give people a taste of what the stitcher likes is what I look for.
@@SmallTownStitches I didn't mean any disrespect in my comment, please don't think you have to change anything because of what I wrote. We all have our own likes and dislikes and it's all good!
Hi! New subscriber here. Your progress is inspiring! I enjoy tracking and seeing the numbers too. I love excel spreadsheets, but I recently bought "The Stichery" Notion template and it is fabulous for tracking. I am going to go watch your wip parade now :) Blessings!!
Great progress (as always)! It's always a great day when I can see what you've been working on! That store is very nice, but SO PACKED ... sometimes I'm afraid to even move in there for fear I'm going to knock something over ... it's probably a good thing it's not closer though, I'd probably spend way too much time there. Any chance you'll be going to the retreat that's being held in Chesaning in May?
Thanks Katrina! Yeah, the store is PACKED! They didn't recognize me by sight but when I checked out and they got my name, they immediately knew I hadn't been there in awhile. I've been stitching from stash. I didn't even know there was a retreat in Chesaning in May. I don't have any PTO until I've been at the new job for a year (Nov).
Since you're not the only person asking, I'll talk about it in my next video. But I use anything and everything that's available to me, without spending lots of money.
I've supported the frames in different ways depending on what house I've been in and what I had available. I'll make a note to talk about it in my next video but it's nothing fancy! I put them on the dining table, or stitch on my bed with the frame supported on either side of me.
It’s always great to catch up with you & see your progress 🙋♀️🇨🇦 Thanks for posting
Thank you! Happy stitching!
Loved your video! First time watching and I love your number obsession. Cross stitch numbers nerd of the highest order. Keep them coming.
Haha, yes! Track all the numbers! Welcome to my channel.
Love your finish and your progress on your beautiful wips. Happy stitching!
Thanks Karin!!
Thank you for the video. That was wonderful to see you again and your work. I like your outlook on life.
Thanks lady! ❤️
Your thumbnail definitely caught my eye. That’s how I became a new subscriber!😁
Yay!! 😊

Hi Kim. Thank you for the update. I like the stats. Your progress is wonderful! Glad the new system seems to be working. ⚘️
Thanks Margaret!

Thanks Amanda! Yes, the colors in US Travel Shelf are eye popping but fun to use since so many of my other pieces don't use them. Happy stitching!
So happy to see you pop up in my feed. Here’s to a stitcher, calmer 2024 than 2023 was. Happy stitching 😊😊😊
Thanks Judith! Here's to lots of stitchy progress!

Amazing January for you! Plus stitching every day is good for soul. Happy Stitching! - Valerie

You have great progress on your museum shelf. It looks so good.
Thanks Linda! ❤️

Thank you! Have a good month!
Wow great progress for January. And talk about a score at Walmart 😮. Happy stitching for February.
Thanks Donna! Yup, it was a steal on that floss. 😊

Awesome progress. Looking forward to seeing the Stokes finish later this year.
Thanks Mandy! Finishing it up by color means I won't officially get the page finishes til the end of the year but it all works out!

I hope your heart is healing over the loss of your pup.
Slowly, but yes, thank you.
Always love seeing your videos!
Thanks Kimberly!
Great progresses. Well done Kim!
Thanks Kitty!
Hi Kim. Sorry you aren’t sleeping well! It is amazing to me that you get so much stitching done. Your stitching is beautiful! Numbers.. love them too
Thanks Paulette! So much going on it's hard to turn my brain off so I can sleep.

I guess I am one of those people who have a tendency to just put my name and my Flosstube number. I can work on doing better too

Thanks for the update. Love your projects, content and discussion about numbers and plans.😊
Thanks Darlene! ❤️ Happy stitching!
Congratulations on your great January. I'm glad your plans are working out for you so far. Cheering you on for a Fabulous February.
Thanks a lot Sarah! Happy stitching!
I checked my Walmart but the DMC is still 55 a skein. I will keep a lookout for a clearance sale.
I didn't look to see if mine still had DMC in the craft aisles so just keep looking in the clearance aisle!

Enjoyed this video. Question: how do you set up for stitching sideways? Do you put the frame on a special stand? I can't visualize it.
Since you're not the only person asking, I'll talk about it in my next video. But I use anything and everything that's available to me, without spending lots of money.
Hallo Kim, where do you put your big frame’s on? Do you use a kind of standard? Thank you!
I've supported the frames in different ways depending on what house I've been in and what I had available. I'll make a note to talk about it in my next video but it's nothing fancy! I put them on the dining table, or stitch on my bed with the frame supported on either side of me.
