- Bhoominathan aka Bhoomi is introduced to us as a person who gets into many local fights. Worried about his future, his family sends him to Muthuramalingam, a much respected personality in his place Semmanur, to put Bhoomi's life on the right track. But things don't go as planned. Muthuramalingam's adversary threatens to kill his daughter Meera as a revenge against his own daughter's fate. So Bhoomi is given the job of Meera's bodyguard at college. Meera goes to college with her friend Madhu but is irritated by Bhoomi's presence everywhere. So she devises a plan

I could not control my tears whenever watch the climax scene of this movie.. it's really a heartouching movie. I watch the movie in both Malayalam and Tamil languages... to me both Nayanthara Mam as Ammu and beauty queen Asin as Meera perform superbly.. Also Vijay sir as bhoomi. It's my all time favourite movie.. due to lack of knowledge in Tamil and Malayalam languages I ve to watch Hindi dubbed every time.. Vijay sir and Asin mam is my best favourite jodi after watching their superb performance in this movie..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I must have seen at least hundred times the scene when bhoomi mistook madhu as his lover. Vijay acting was spotless. I know she did wrong to her best friend, but still, this scene is irresistible. Because she is not a villain and till the time Vijay mistakenly ask her being his lover, she never had an idea of betraying meera.

Heartbreaking story. But I love it. I dont hate Madu for doing that. Because She saved his life, treat him well and give birth to his child too. So Meera deserve that pain because she indirectly cheated on him by telling those un forgivable lies.

She loved him truely in fact madhu know that. True frd make him understand why she does that not by taking him by using the time on her favour. Means she silently loved him without letting anyone knew it. This is cheating and fraud. Bhoomi will def accept meera whatever it takes, because he himself said he loved from heart. There is no drama required from madhu side by her selfish act.. Okay...
