Not too long ago I did a delivery from Heartlands to Armadillo, encountered no one on the roads but when in Armadillo the station was surrounded by NPC bandits, there was a huge active posse and my first thought was "here we go,they are gonna attack me". Nope, they actually helped me kill the bandits and protected my wagon. Absolute legends they were.
Man had the same happen to me like 2 days ago I had auto aim on and targeted one of them but when I seen it wasn’t an npc and they were helping I carefully picked my shots and won the battle delivered the goods and we went on our separate ways
@@grandmabetty40yearsago7 Not really...An 100/100 large wagon delivery is $125 more for distant. Ofc it's worth it, especially when you are in a low lvl lobby, but Distant grants more just because the risk is higher. IT HAS to be higher. Agreed to the rest, the players who do that are, if not griefers, huge pieces of shit
Tbh I wish there was a solo session where we can go in and still do runs but have like NPCs come at u instead of a player or if we could go in a mode where other players can’t hit u or even blow u up ya know if that all makes any sense if not then sorry lol
Much appreciated, bro! Busy with work, these days, but I'll be back with more content real soon. In the mean time, check out my Griefer's Justice series!
I love this it's a rush when you get attacked (not so cool when you lose though) however I think if you gonna attack a wagon and you get smoked the respawn should be like a state away. Getting attacked by a posse its almost inevitable you gonna lose even though I've sniped them multiple times
That's a solid idea! R* should definitely incorporate that as it at least gives you a fighting chance to get ahead before they catch up to you again... Be thankful the spawns aren't anywhere near as bad as GTAO!! A player you just killed will literally spawn half a block away from you IN THE VERY DIRECTION YOU'RE DRIVING AWAY IN! lol
I got griefed by a posse all using dynamite arrows and it fucking sucked. They didn’t even want the supplies. I kept killing them over and over but it didn’t matter because there was 4 bags of supplies on the ground and I was getting harassed by an entire posse.
It's great if your camp is in heartlands cuz there's a chance you'll deliver it on train tracks, just beware of explosive arrow users. I get alot of those players sometimes.
Definitely gotta keep a sharp eye out. Personally, I think R* should have made it so players can't auto lock or use PIB on you when you're on your wagon doing a sale (just like in GTAO); they should only be able to free-aim, unless you step off the wagon.
Tip: If you think your going to lose all your stuff to griefer you can close application and save some of the supplies but unfortunately not all of it but better than losing all the supplies.

Travelling via train tracks takes a bit longer I think What I like to do is use explosive ammo in a Bolt Action rifle like you do but what I ALWAYS DO is check the lobby I'm in;if it's a packed lobby(which seems to always have many high level players who are potential threats),I switch to another lobby with fewer players(and only 1-3 are high levels for the most part in these sparsely populated sessions) as this can reduce the risk of getting attacked altogether and if you do get attacked,it's not as hard to deal with low levels compared to high levels but it's RDO so you can never be too careful no matter the lobby...
If you encounter npc bandit, watch your minimap then leave your wagon and try to lure them away from your wagon and fight with them then just go back to the wagon and continue, same with other waves, or else those enemies will destroy your wagon, unless you got friends
Always wondered what the point was of alerting other players that you’re making sale? It’s not like you making a sale cuts into anybody else’s profit margins, just asking for other players to fuck with you.
Yeah, I guess that's R*s model for simulating the whole outlaw/ criminal experience (same as GTA online)... As I've said in previous comments, other players shouldn't be able to lock onto you (even with PIB) during wagon sales- also your horses & wagon should be able to withstand more damage; that would at the very least balance it out a little better.
@@elijahjustice I always thought that it’d be cool if there were some form of economy/market, like one week there might be a high demand for Elk pelts, the next week Bison becomes the sought after item, and the week after that Bear. Like if there were actual bearing on what you traded and sold so you had to be conscious of what animals you were harvesting carcasses and pelts from. It would create a more organic sense of competition for the best hunting grounds, resources, and making sales more so than “just to be a dick”. Also other players making sales drives down the value of items as the supply equalizes with the demand with over saturation, so be one of the first to make the sale and stealing would make more sense. Fair enough it is an outlaw game so stealing is a definite component but I think most people would rather not piss on someone’s work.
@@lufsolitaire5351 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 DUDE... Seriously, those are FANTASTIC suggestions!! If you haven't already, definitely send that to R*. I love that concept of certain materials being in high demand + having to be early enough to sell. The competition over prime hunting locations is a solid idea also. You've ticked a lot of boxes here.
@@elijahjustice It just makes conflict more natural from “might makes right” to “you are in possession of several wolf pelts in your delivery inventory which is this weeks sought after Item therefore in order to get the larger monetary/exp payout I will now steal from you”. It doesn’t have to be complicated but would just go to show somebody at R* took an intro to econ101 class. Just raise the stakes, create an in game economy, and make the trader role more complex and interesting. You’d obviously still make a profit hunting Deer and Pronghorn but you’d get an extra bonus for selling a certain rarer items per week. At some point he rich enough to have actual caravans and hiring guards to defend you supply trains.
