- Trainspotting videos are finally back! I've really not given trains enough love on my channel it feels like, which is ironic because my channel did actually start out the other way around with buses usually left behind. Anyway, the first episode back sees me joined by the lovely GLovesTrains who's idea it was for me to even do this station first for the return.
Situated on the Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly Line (sometimes referred to as part of the West Coast Mainline, even though it isn't), as well as being the junction before the start of the Buxton Line and other local routes too. We see services here from Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Northern, TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales. Sadly, despite it being quite a good station for it, we did not catch any freight in our visit. Then again, this was on a Sunday.

The Scotrail 170s entered service in NX days, NX being the initial operator of most ot them, with Central Trains & Midland Main Line too.

brilliant trainspotting at Stockport & ive done Stockport 3 times now for trains & the last time was a few weeks ago while i was up North & i did a session there before i started a Cheshire Day Ranger o the day & i love Stockport & i love the Veriety of trains you get through the station & its now one of my fav stations up in the North for trainspotting im looking forward to seeing the buses one when that comes out in the future
Surprised you managed to catch sight of any Northern trains with it being a Sunday. One of my local lines is the Liverpool - Blackpool North line which recently has had a pattern of either not running at all on a Sunday or only running a part service (Liverpool - Wigan North Western (The Wigan for G) roughly every 2 hours instead of the timetabled hourly service.
I've been observing various routes and some have had no services on Sunday for like a month now. Stoke got two return runs on the day this was filmed. Actually, I think it was one towards Manchester and a single return run
We love 323s!
I like both in their own rights. I just wouldn't replace 158s with 170s
Sorry for being kind-of off-topic Jen and Lucy, and this question isn't meant to offend at all (I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community myself, and I fully support it) but I can't find an answer online to this specific question:
Why do quite a few spotters/enthusiasts in Britain make the transition to be female? I was talking to a woman I know who had herself transitioned not long ago (who isn't specifically into trains, but large forms of transport in general) and she had observed the same thing as me. Just wondering why? I don't have a problem with it or anything by the way!
@@RWL2012 did riding transport make you LGBTQ+?.. The two things are completely unrelated. Being trans does not stem from riding public transport 😂.
