For Rivals 2 the in game queue works totally fine and I've been getting doubles lobbies pretty consistently during the betas but for Rivals 1 I recommend the MLG server, they have a role called Renzo Mode you ping to play doubles (named after me 🥲) discord.gg/tGj29pYrpm
