Moving from the Nevada high desert where there are more than 300 days of sun a year to Germany where the sun barely comes out (in comparison) was depressing enough. I cannot even begin to imagine living in the north. Last summer we visited my siblings in Alaska and lived through the whole "the-sun-never-sets" thing and that was rough but then to transition to winter where it's only slightly sunny for a few hours would be too much for me. More power to the people who can get through it
That would be fascinating to see. It'd be so weird with the sun shining all night. I would rather have constant sunlight than 24 hour darkness outside. The latter would be depressing.
As much as we need the light....we need the darkness as well. Sure I'd pick sunlight over darkness to, but I'm sure it'll have its consequences and repercussions as well.🌅🌃🌅🌃🌅🌃🌅🌃
I'm from Newfoundland!! The fog is beautiful and I love the sound of the fog horn. I will say I just stopped everything when I heard the word Newfoundland because some people don't even know we exist and of course when I do hear it I always go back to see if it was pronounced right.... it wasn't, one day, one day. lol love these videos, Great work!
Speaking of the Sun, here is some mind blowing info. This will probably sound very strange, but it is true, and if you try, you will see. If you sing to the Sun of love and thanks, the Sun will answer you with stronger healing rays. It is truly miraculous, divine. The more you do, the more you will see, our life giving, LIVING light. Thank you for this great video, I really want to visit Norway now. Light and love always🎵🌞💖
I experienced similar many years ago in Alaska.... went in the summer there and took pictures around midnight, but there was still light. It was amazing. But in wintertime it was dark for most of the day.
In Tromsø, even though during some weeks there may be no sunrise, there is still some twilight around noon. On December 21, there is still 4 hours of twilight, bright enough that you can switch off city lights. And a few weeks later it is already longer. On the other hand, around June 21, even though the sun does not set, even at noon the sun is not so high in the sky. In fact, the Sun never gets higher in the sky than 45 degrees in Tromso.
