My tears fell. Nkaka amaze at nkaka proud. Truly Filipinos have a big impact not just in Asia but to the whole world specially when it talks about Catholic Faith.
I am suprised that the rest standing up have no santo Niño statues to wave its a tradition in the philippines the crowd during presisyon they have to bring their own santo Niño to wave with.
It is a replica though. The original image is housed in the Basilica del Santo Niño in Cebu and it is rarely transferred from its chapel; only exposed during special occassions such as the Sinulog Festival Day.
@@jerxi6538 even during Sinulog it is not exposed to the public. It is permanently kept on a bullet proof encasement at the side altar of the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu for veneration.
@@SirVicAtYourService thank you. Although there are rare instances when the image is taken from the reliquary. For instance, the image was exposed during this year's Sinulog day. Check the Holy Mass livestream. Also, the image is taken from the reliquary for official photo shoots by the Basilica (see the offical photos posted by the Basilica and the caledar photos).
