disabled she had to stop working
& it really ate her up inside because
she missed working so much & hated
receiving a check and not going to
work every morning, sad to say because of that she couldn't stand it
anymore & out of desperation took
her own life by electrocution. It's
extremely difficult for some people
to readjust. She was in her middle
30's. I think of her often.
By working so very hard like that

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your friends story is EXACTLY how my life is. I worked since I was 15 up until I was 41. I got really sick, couldn't work anymore, and now I receive a disability check every month. I feel so out of it, like I'm wasting away. If it wasn't for God holding onto me soon, tight, or vice versa, I would have given into Satan's plan.

I remember attempting to be a SAHW, I was bored and felt almost useless, The house was Cleaned to the Core, Clothes washed, Dinner made daily, but watching my husband work and pay the majority of the bills made me feel so bad for his daily struggle, So I got off my tail and reused my expensive degree and worked pt..I met new people, It was rewarding to our family and I didn't over do it..I put in a few hours a week, plus self care to just have my own identity..It was cute for awile but I was done with being the trophe wife..This is simply my journey, I can't speak for anyone else. I needed the freedom..Its NOT easy..the days began to run together, the quietness becomes Loud. My husband likes me better, I was semi depressed. I was tired with low energy, I felt more equal, daily even after doing NOTHING my life had a schedule outside of shopping and creating a look..but again that was MY journey..

The air fryer is indeed a pain! I buy the liners and do my fries 360 for 15 mins and they come out perfect with a little avocado oil. Glad to see y’all are doing well ❤I cannot get over how Brandon smiles and looks at you. Just so cute. I showed my boyfriend his shoulder shimmy with the laugh and he was busting out laughing 😂😂😂 I think other men can take away some of the kindness Brandon has and he could potentially be a mentor. Some type of marriage retreat would be super cool. Brandon comes off as positive, open and funny. Y’all are so blessed to have each other. Keep pushing ❤ Destene don’t feel bad I just got our groceries for the week and it was a $200 order at this point they know me when I pull up to sams club, Costco, Walmart, Kroger & food lion and where to put the groceries. I’m lazy so it works. If I do shop in the stores I will go early or right before the store closes.

Hey Destene and Brandon-I feel you Destene when you get a good meal you sort of "zone out" and do your "happy dance." That's me ALL the time. 😃 Sometimes depending on what I'm eating and its soooo good, I get emotional where it feels like I could start crying. I know, too much. 🤣🤣 I'm so serious though. My Mother calls me a "foodie." I'm good with that. 🤣

I definitely understand. My former occupation was a RN. I’m a mom of 4 and a wife. After I left my job to take care of the kids and our business. I was so lost. Then when I was starting to adjust. I would get comments like oh you’re just a stay at home mom. I’m 6 years in and I’m learning to give myself grace and to stop listening to people that aren’t in my household. Some days are more productive than others and I’m okay with it. I’m a Gemini too so my twin gets in the way sometimes lol. Much love be kind to you Destene ❤
Hey guys you have to take care of cast iron. It needs to be coated with oil placed in the oven and baked, next no soap to clean it, never in the dishwasher. If you see rust forming clean it off oil and oven again. Pls refer to RUclips, so your cast iron can be passed down for generations.

put the olive oil in it
put it on top of the
stove on a burner & allow it to slowly get really hot. Once it's extremely hot and slightly smoking, turn off the burner and wipe
excess oil out of
skillet with some
paper toweling right
away. Don't burn
ur fingers! It's
officially called keeping
your cast iron skillet well seasoned so it will
turn black properly &
last a lifetime.

I hear you on the SAHW lifestyle it's not easy, I was a SAHM for 3 years and it happened it was not something my husband and I planned. It was harder than having a job. You have to learn to be disciplined and create structure especially when you have kids. I realized I prefer being a SAHM if my kids are at school and I have a remote job😂...It's not for everyone for sure and it's not glamorous. I completely understand and it's so easy to be distracted 😂

Destene have u ever had your thyroid checked? My cousin's neck looked a little swollen like yours and she had low energy. Dr told her she a thyroid problem, shes on meds now feeling much better.
That's very true. It wouldn't hurt to
have your thyroid checked for
hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism.
Just to allay some of the symptoms
you have stated you're experiencing.

French fries pretty much like putting nothing in the air fryer so it’s still clean after. They just warming up like a microwave. Just run it 1-2 ,in after to kill everything. Trust me. I’m from Chicago

Destene girl, I have been doing yoga for over 3 years consistently and that is the time when I can truly talk to my Lord. David meditated in the Bible and so did many other prophets whose words we read. It is because in that quiet time away from the noisy world, we can truly feel close to Him and hear His voice for guidance in our lives. Like you said, I don’t know how people live especially so called “Christians”. They do more PR for the devil than people who don’t believe in God. Look to God for discernment. Often times we are told to live in fear of things that will separate us from Him but NOTHING can separate us from His love.

43:00 I watched a movie on Netflix I think its call "the good place", it's about people when they go to the afterlife. Everything they did in life let's them lose or gain points which will be calculated when they die to see if there is enough to go to the good place or the bad place. They found out that everyone was going to the bad place only to realise that everything they do is bad, an example was of a man who bought his grandmother roses for her birthday and usually they would give him points but he lost points be cause the company that sold the fertiliser which was used on the flowers had some unethical issue. It got me realising that everything is a problem and you just can't win so just do your best and do what you believe is right and good for you.
