This is awesome, but the costs Ive found are insane. Im a general contractor with extensive background in commercial and residential construction, remodeling, and renovation. When I began to look into this for a clients patio I couldn’t have imagined the cost.
Get a supplier. Binder and colored rubber is the most expensive. Black rubber is cheap. Liberty in Houston sell rubber by the bulk. Like .30 cents a pound.
@texaswayz2289 I live in a remote part of Africa and was looking to get this done for our local school. Would it be possible for us to do a DIY? We do have many skilled parents willing to help. Only question I have is what chemical is the binder and how much binder per sack of rubber granules? Would you be able to help?
@smarthought I'm pretty sure it's 1 litre of glue to 6kgs of rubber 1:6 ratio. And it's common binding glue. Just make sure it's UV resistant. And cover area with shade if possible.

You're correct. Dog kennels and doggie daycare facilities all over the US are looking into this surfacing and making changes. It's easily cleaned and is easy on their paws.
Great job guys I used to install this around pools and patios even indoors to convert a room into a gym I do mostly garage epoxy flooring now , but I’d like to know if this would work in home garages or if it has a weight limit capacity If cars are too heavy?
Hi Heriberto, Thank you for your question! Poured-in-place rubber surfacing could be installed in a garage. However, consistently parking a car on top of it would most likely cause the surfacing to deteriorate quicker. Please feel free to contact our sales team and they will be able to address any questions or concerns about poured-in-place surfacing: www.aaastateofplay.com/contact-us/ You can also read more about our poured-in-place surfacing here: www.aaastateofplay.com/poured-in-place-surfacing/ Have a great day! Yea, how do we get the cost down so that it can be offered for residences? Not just moneyed HOAs and city governments?
