In some regards, yes. Imperfect Cell relies on cunning and survival tactics to get the better of his opponents.(Piccolo) Semi-Perfect Cell is more arrogant (though with the power at his disposal who could blame him) and is more direct. (Vegeta) Perfect Cell also has arrogance, but he loves a good fight and will use any and every trick in the book to showcase his superiority (Goku/Frieza)
So, a possible new Perfect Cell, with maybe Mitho and Condria already absorbed, and who was already as strong as Semiperfect Cell at "birth"? Yeah that can be a problem
I love the care you put into each what if, and you give us enough breathing room to anticipate and be excited for each part while giving yourself more time to unwind and think of more what ifs! I applaud you
I think it would be a little far fetched, that old cell would be weaker than he is right now. He also may think old cell is a failure. Hed probably be way way stronger than perfect cell if he absorbed current 17 & 18.
I was expecting this part to just be Good Boy 21 having a small role in the Broly scenario, probably something more with Frieza than Broly himself, but this is WAY more interesting. You're good at twisting the original DragonBall lore, but you're GREAT at making your own lore in addition.
Who do you think is going to be more evil original cell or bad boi 21? I think bad boy 21 will be more evil, if 21 purged himself of all evil this one would be 100%. Where original cell is still had some good in him 75% evil, he sorta played buy rules and had some patience.
Well, this just got way more interesting. I can only imagine the battle these two will have. Hope 17 and the kids are okay, can't wait for the next part!
I feel like Imperfect 21 might use the kids as bargaining chips to try and absorb 17 and 18 again to reform as Perfect Cell and destroy our 21 but a similar thing to the split from Dabura (and semi perfect cells self destruct) our 21 will reform back into his own perfect form and get good perfect 21 vs evil perfect 21 but if it's anything like how piccolo and Kami were if one dies so will the other
I agree, with phillip. That is an interesting concept, the soul bound kami piccolo thing. I don't think he could use them as a bargaining chip in the traditional sense. There's too many other strong fighters and the fact that all of them can regerate they could be attacked and then take the children as they reform. Cell is pretty smart so he'd know this.
I will admit. At first, it was hard to get use to the new thumbnail, espiecally when the words are small. Yet after a good long while, I came to love them. Good job, MasakoX.

I've got a lot of feelings about this one, but most are happy! This is my favorite of your what-ifs, and although the more drawn conversations wouldn't exist in DB, I'm quite happy you found a good way to continue. Masako, dude. First of all, you are THE BEST what if story teller out there! Second, Why mention the main plot in every single episode isn’t it mundane? Do you need to actually say “today we’re going to talk about one of dragon balls most prominent villains and we’re not talking about Frieza… we’re talking about Cell!” I mean.. the title already says it doesn’t it? Just a suggestion as i think most of the viewers have to skip to the main part. Even the what if Kid Goku turned super saiyan, the entire premise was repeated in every single episode 😓 Anyone else feel this way too?

At best, I think Imperfect Cell will use the kids as hostages until the Z-Fighters give him Androids 17 and 18. At worst, Imperfect Cell will absorb the kids, either the way he use to absorb humans to drain them of their energy, or maybe he will even try to absorb them the open tail way, perhaps try and see if the kids can actually REPLACE Androids 17 and 18 so that a Perfect Form can be regained!

You know piccolo could have reminded cell that the nameless nemekian separated into kami and king piccolo who was pure evil, remember our piccolo was piccolo Jr only really reformed thanks to his interactions with Gohan and the other z fighters. I know piccolo wanted 21 to face the consequences of his decision but still that info could have swayed 21s decision
It must be freaky for 18 to see Second Form Cell. First Form Cell is way scarier looking compared to the dumb second form, but the latter is the one that actually absorbed her.
Hey just throwing an Idea out for a what if that I think could be interesting as it wouldn't retread on anything. What if the red ribbon army became relevant again, thoughts for how this could happen in my head involve remnants of the army going off planet back in dragon ball, maybe led by general blue in order to get away from Goku and went on to dominate other planets and succeeded. They wouldn't have been noticed by the dragon team due to their low ki, however could in time maybe gain tech with equivalent strength to current dragon team. Maybe through a Dr. Gero successor which could lead to an interesting situation that they themselves would have low ki making them hard to track but have like power suits that put them on par with the gang just an idea.
So is there gonna be a point where Android 21(the real one and not cell) appears. Since the What if Future Trunks & Mai Stayed in the past had some Dragon Ball Heroes stuff. Could this one have an arc with Dragon Ball FighterZ?

I can't help but think that "evil 21" will either use the twins as bait/bargening_chips, or try absorbing them in an attempts to become perfect.
Now the evil one be Perfect Cell.
The one thing I really like about these "turned good" what ifs is the extended role of Piccolo in a lot of them, like the Babidi one

I don't know, I think Piccolo would had the foresight try the fission in the hyperbolic time chamber to try and keep it as contained as possible.
