Good morning I was scrolling back and forth looking at my music , I never heard this kind of music first time ever guess what I'm changing my music ..I fell in love with this song called " Till the end of the world I reap it over and over thank you Jesus he helped me find this WoW
I was in the 7th role at the Fox Theatre in the 90's with tears in my ears when Pat did this one. My granddad played this guy when I was only ten so to finally see him in my 20's was to good to be true. That was a joyful tear...pleasure to my ears. Thanks Beauty for the invite.
While riding A1A, from Daytona to Jacksonville Florida one morning right as light was breaking the eastern sky over the Atlantic Ocean, this gem started on the Ipod. I'll never forget that moment as long as i live........pure bliss.
I m an artist n hv bn listening to PM since art school in the early 80s. His music is spiritual. thats why he so deeply connects. I work late at night listening to his gorgeous triumphant tunes!!!
Whenever I get into trouble in this world ... whether it be thru too much self-indulgence or too much recklessness, it seems I can always come back to Pat Metheny (& probably especially this tune) to settle my self down & see again why this world is amazing & worth sacrificing a lot of things for. Pat is KING ... or, at least one of them!!
Memories for all who have commented. They come to join this profound composition. Pat and musicians were going somewhere. I’m in for the ride. Peace to all.
There is no one greater than Pat when it comes to putting you in a groove, a mood a trance. I am so appreciative of me when it comes to knowing good music.
...my sister and I would be hanging around him playing or whatever. Good times. I'm only in my mid-twenties and I'm already looking back to my childhood with the rosy-colored spectales tinted by my father and Mr. Metheny.
This song, and for that matter, this whole album, will ALWAYS take me back to my childhood and my father who raised my sister and I on Pat Metheny, but my dad, who's from England would often play this album in particular while sitting at his electronic typewriter writing magazine articles on Indian artifacts while my sister and I, who were probably eight and nine years old at the time when this album came out--and my dad would always buy EVERY Metheny album as soon as it came out...
I listen to smooth jazz a lot and when I want a real relaxing jolt I come back to To The End of The World. Pure travel music whether on the road or in my favorite chair.
Ok, I'm on the third time listening to this moving song. The places I've been as a result are too beautiful for words. More, I want more. I want the people of earth to live to the challenging message in this music. No religion has, in the thousands of years or effort, the power to take us there like music like this. Play on, Play!!!
What a tune! And this video has just blown my mind. Is that the Earth passing by every three minutes? Smile and wave. We are listening to this music as we travel together through space (for ever).
" There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and the tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." (Luke 21: 25 - 27)
This is rollin through the Oakland hills on Joaquin Miller Rd. in the 7-Series with the sunroof open at dusk. Looking toward the west to see the sun setting over SF across the bay. This song playing on the car stereo.

@gwendolyn seward somebody had to have put that thought or suggestion into your head first. Yes, PMG is a great band, guitarist, musician, artist, etc. His genius is without a doubt one of the rarest in time space continuum. I love this song; probably my favourite in the album.
In Australia 99% of people do not know Jazz Music period and ask them if they know one of the best jazz composers and guitar players of all time like Pat and the answer would be who ????????????????????? But they know about Justin Bieber. who has 99% Zero talent .................that tells me a lot about Australians and there knowledge of music ...........SHEEP ............
