    Funny how Herbert throws 4 picks, Jordan Love throws 3 (should have been 4 but CJGJ just dropped it) and yet the QB being called the most disappointing is the guy that just got out of concussion protocol who didn't turn the ball over ONCE, Zero, Nada, Zelch, 0, even. Go look at Nick Foles first game in 2017 against the Falcons, that game wasn't pretty yet look at what we did in Superbowl 52. Go Birds.

      Let's not act like this was an outlier game for Jalen. He has many games with similar performances during the reg season, he was averaging right around 200 passing yards before the injury and hasn't thrown more than 2TDs all season either. He's second among starting QBs in sack rate as well. He also is close to the top of the league among QBs in time to throw.

The pure mental damage they did to them by uttering the phrases "passing" and "Is that what y'all wanted to see?" Has still been resting in their heads like a plague. You cannot convince me that people like Rich Aren't praying for the eagles to lose so they call all do a victory lap on Jalen not being good and Aj being a dva etc etc.... The narrative around Jalen Hurts makes NO sense. You hear "They made the best off season acquisition in Saquon Barkley" then ya'll turnaround and complain when they USE him and don't throw the ball? Ever stop to think for a second that Jalen doesn't throw the ball BECAUSE HE DOESN'T NEED TO?! Jalen Hurts is INCREDIBLY efficient with his limited passing attempts. Jalen Hurts MAKES the play that is needed when needed. When you have a run game and a defense like this team does, that is so physically dominate, you do NOT put the ball in harms way and risk a turnover. And that's what Jalen does. And you CANNOT question their ability to win a shoot out, because what? They already did, week 1, against GB.

    people don’t realize he’s had a lingering knee injury since they played the Steelers. that’s most likely why they only threw him the ball once; they’re using him just to draw attention from the defense. the media obsession with trying to make AJ Brown a self centered arrogant diva needs to be studied bc at this point it’s getting weird

    Dude I do like rich, but I lose a lot of respect for him every time he perpetuates this nonsense narrative that AJ is a diva that is mad cause he doesn’t get targets. Like first of all, the eagles only throw to two receivers - and he’s #1. Why would he be mad about targets? Second of all, the dude seems like a genuinely nice guy who’s done a lot for the team and for the community.
    This whole narrative started because he rightfully pointed out that the passing offence is trash. I mean it’s like 29th in the league with some of the best talent. It was an honest answer to a question. It’s just annoying to hear this from people like rich.

      Eagles are below .500 without him, over .800 with him. For casuals, here's the deal: Hurts has the highest adj. accuracy, high completion %, over 100 passer rating, he's clutch, he does what's needed to win. People don't see that. They see a tall QB with a big arm get hard ons. An elite QB has Hurts attributes. But you won't understand that

    After watching the all 22 - no one was open. Hurt's concusion must have been severe becuase this offense went back a bunch of weeks to very vanilla. Enough to be ran with efficiency and no turn overs while defense did work. I think it'll be different next week. Again, AJ Brown reading to keep his own mental in check should be celebrated not scrutinized. if he was arguing with hurts and the coaches and pointing fingers, isolating himself, and then reading - we'd have an issue.

  • @leonapplebutter5946

    This might be a hot take but the idea of not going for a record or finishing off a touchdown run because somebody might get hurt is the wrong mentality to have. I'm not an eagles fan but I would want my team to go for the kill at all times

    • @godiegolems
      @godiegolems 14 дней назад

      You're describing the 49ers of the past few years, basically. A very skilled 49ers team, who didn't even get to compete this year because of running their guys into the ground. Super physical team just like the eagles, but the difference in strategy for how to keep guys healthy is why one is making a playoff run this year, and one is watching from the couch.

    • @SPACEKNOCKERZ76

      Nope. Would have had to play the o line. Was better to see them rested on the sideline. Can’t risk losing lane Johnson. Last year they didn’t have aj in the playoffs.
