L-arginine is an amino acid that is naturally found in the body and can also be taken as a supplement. Here's what you should know about the benefits, side effects, dosage, and studies related to L-arginine:
    Benefits:
Improved cardiovascular health: L-arginine can help to improve blood flow by relaxing blood vessels, which may help to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Enhanced exercise performance: L-arginine may help to improve exercise performance by increasing blood flow and reducing fatigue.
Improved erectile function: L-arginine may help to improve erectile function in men with erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis.
Wound healing: L-arginine may help to promote wound healing by increasing blood flow to the affected area.
Immune function: L-arginine may play a role in immune function by supporting the production of white blood cells.
Here are some of the best food sources of L-arginine:
Meat: Beef, pork, and chicken are all good sources of L-arginine.
Seafood: Fish and shellfish, such as tuna, salmon, shrimp, and lobster, are also good sources of L-arginine.
Dairy: Milk, cheese, and yogurt all contain L-arginine.
Nuts and seeds: Peanuts, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds are all good sources of L-arginine.
Legumes: Soybeans, chickpeas, lentils, and kidney beans are all high in L-arginine.
Grains: Oats, wheat, and quinoa are good sources of L-arginine.
Vegetables: Spinach, beets, and seaweed are all high in L-arginine.
    Side effects:
L-arginine is generally considered safe for most people when taken in appropriate doses. However, some people may experience side effects, including:
Digestive issues: Some people may experience digestive issues like nausea, diarrhea, or stomach cramps when taking L-arginine.
Low blood pressure: L-arginine may lower blood pressure in some individuals, which could be problematic for people who are already taking medications to lower their blood pressure.
Allergic reactions: Some people may be allergic to L-arginine. Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include rash, hives, or difficulty breathing.
    Dosage:
The appropriate dosage of L-arginine depends on various factors, including the individual's age, health, and reason for taking it. For general cardiovascular health, doses between 3-6 grams per day are commonly used. For improving exercise performance or erectile function, doses between 2-6 grams per day may be effective.

@@DrTomBiernackiI may be mistaken, but I have seen some short videos that claim that the body makes arginine "from" citrulline...and then as it breaks down/uses arginine, that at that step, some of the arginine is turned back into citrulline... ...so for that reason they claim that citrulline is the way to go... Is there any definitive answer? Or could it be an individual response? Or is this something that for the majority could work either way? EDIT: removed accidentap emoji

      Thanks for the great response!
Researchers found that creatine in combination with arginine and other amino acids was better than creatine or L-arginine alone at improving peak power output. Bodybuilders may use this combination and the benefits of creatine and L-arginine mix use are:
      - Enhances Circulation
      - Boosts exercise capacity
      - Decreases muscle soreness
      - Promotes muscle pump
      - May promote weight loss.
However, this mix should not be used by people taking some medications.

Bu Ali, thanks for the great response!
Yes, you may take both together. With regards to performance, Citrulline Malate is actually better than L Arginine. It promotes endurance during exercise by expelling ammonia and lactate from the blood and also boosts the production of ATP considerably. It promotes strength better than L Arginine, factors that make it better than the latter. However, both, L-Arginine and Citrulline Malate are two amino acids that are essential for nitric oxide production in the body. The combination of both supplements can work wonders in increasing blood flow, reducing muscle soreness, and improving sexual health.

What is or how about: Euphoria Maxx L Arginine Plus (Amino Acids)?

    • @DrTomBiernacki
      @DrTomBiernacki  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the great response!
According to manufacturer promotions Euphoria Maxx contains L-arginine, herbs, and some other additives ( L-Arginine, Tribulus Terrestris, Horny Goat Weed and Tongkat Ali) is effective for increasing endurance and promoting muscle building, it is recommended for active athletes and for men who works overtime. A premium energy booster to keep you on the go. Promotes lean muscles and ripped abs.
Its main component - L-arginine is an amino acid naturally found in red meat, poultry, fish, and dairy. It is necessary for making proteins and is commonly used for circulation. L-arginine is converted in the body into a chemical called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide causes blood vessels to open wider for improved blood flow. L-arginine also stimulates the release of growth hormone, insulin, and other substances in the body. It can be made in a lab and used in supplements. People use L-arginine for chest pain and various blow flow issues, erectile dysfunction, high blood pressure during pregnancy, and a serious disease in premature infants called necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). It's also used for many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these other uses. Taking L-arginine as a supplement can benefit the heart and muscles, but it may cause side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, and bloating.
If possible, we would appreciate a quick and easy rating from you, and a good rating makes a BIG difference for us!

You can but only take no m[re than 500 mg a day at your age. They sell capsules that start at 500 mg. Too much will cause serious side effects. I take it before my workouts for good pumps with an intra workout drink. Just be safe taking supplements always do your research first
