Oh, I haven't been on a cruise in a long time. But let me tell you my NCL story, since that's the line you were on. I was on a Caribbean cruise, it was December (2008, if you care), still the rainy season. We had to detour further out to avoid a hurricane on our way back towards Florida. So we were informed we may get back in a little late. All things considered, sounds like a good deal. Better than dying in a hurricane. Then the hurricane moves on in a convenient way so our captain decides he might be able to get us back on time if he just goes faster. Ive been on 4 cruises, and that was the only one I got motion sick on. Best part was that the entertainment that night had jugglers and unicycles. Nobody was hurt, but just imagine someone trying to get onto an 8 ft. tall unicycle to juggle knives with the boat pitching to like 45 degree angles each way. Fear. So much fear. So he nixed that part of the act.
