I don't know David Guzik's motives and if he is genuine but he has deleted many posts on this video of black people sharing the truth. I would like to put it down to that he doesn't know and doesn't want to steer people in a direction he thinks is harmful but who knows, maybe a false watered down Christianity is where he wants to lead you but you should let God be true and every man be a liar. Billy Graham moved me with many of his sermons but even toward the end of his life as he got older, he had strange statements that he made about people finding the Father and getting to heaven via other routes like islam etc. Don't let people play with your salvation and your interpretation of the scriptures.

I get the impression that the teaching that "David" refers to Jesus comes from the Reformed church's reluctance to take certain verses literally - for example a large majority of Reformed pastors here in England do not believe the "sons of God" who came in to the daughters of men in Genesis were angelic beings in human form.

Jacob is the whole house of Israel not just Judah. They are both distinguished throughout the prophets. Ezekiel tells us that at some point the whole house of Israel will be resurrected. 2 Baruch describes this resurrection in chapters 49-51

Your comments are spot on! But I also want to note and add the use of Jacob vs. Israel. In Jeremiah typically, Jacob represents an unredeemed sinner or the sinful nation of Israel. Israel represents the nation that has been redeemed and repented of their sins. Note that distinction as well as you study Jeremiah.

Israel has to be restored. God promised it. You have no proof that Jacob’s trouble is the 70 year captivity. You just deny what scripture says. You have to prove God restored them Like Jer 30:7-11 and verses 17-23 say, and at no time has he restored them yet. When did these things take place?
I see Jesus the Messiah for David their King in verse 9. Also Jesus was called son of David by the blind man then Jesus healed him 😊
Believers are not appointed unto God's wrath. The great tibulation is not God's wrath. God's wrath come after the great tribulation
Sasha, no the Great Tribulation is when God pours out His wrath. Read Revelations. After that Satan is thrown in the lake of fire and we move on to glorious eternity

Israel is lost through unbelief currently as a whole but ultimately will be saved through persecution at that time! Matt 24, jer.30 and ezekiel passages.
Yeshua speaks in Matthew 24 about a great tribulation that will befall Israel (Jews), why do I think it is about Israel? Because he mentions "those who are in Judea" and that the escape must not happen in winter (difficult in snow) or the Sabbath (everything is closed), who is this about, well Jews of course. Then after the days of trouble, Yeshua will return with his saints (Christians raptured before the tribulation that the Son has already brought to the place he prepared) washed clean in the blood of the Lamb, to judge. And as with the flood in Noah's time, people were taken with the flood but Noah and his family were left on earth in the ark, the same will be the judgment at Yeshua's return, some will be taken away in the judgment but some will remain (Matt 24:41). The tribulation (the great) has not happened yet and the wrath of God has not come yet for Christians are not to suffer it, read: "God has not appointed us to suffer the judgment of wrath, but to gain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thess 5:9).
Many Christians and Bible teachers (myself included) believe that Jesus spoke of near future and a far future events in Matthew 24.
certainly, she of his words were fulfilled in 70 A.D. and yet there seems that some of his words have yet to be fulfilled.

Which texts support the idea that believers will be removed from the earth before Daniel's 70th week? Jesus never told us that we would escape before the AC's appearance (Matthew 23-25). Paul never told us that, either:
"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him,we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us-whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter-asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God." 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
So instead of being a Corrie ten Boom (who hid Jews and rejected a pre-tribulation rapture), or Rahab (who hid the Jews and risked her life), or Ruth, who in choosing to go with Naomi rejected her pagan culture and received the Messiah, you are actually making the same, deliberate choice as the German church in Nazi Germay. Corrie ten Boom and Ruth and Rahab, unlike the German church, chose to identify with the Jewish people. And in so doing they both chose to enter into their sufferings.
Jacob's trouble will smoke out the believers from the make believers, those who claim to "love Israel", but cop out when it counts the most.
@@jeannet7443 To your first question, I would be willing to do whatever God tells me to do. Yes I do say it with a smile, because it will be glorious to meet my Savior who died for me face to face. I'm so excited for it! :D And to your claim about Matthew 24, you have to realize who Jesus is talking to. His disciples are Jewish and they already know about the time of Jacob's troubles. The Old Testament is full of references to it. They were asking for the signs of when it was going to happen. He wasnt talking to His church. When He in fact is talking to His church in Revelation, He tells the church of Philadelphia that since they kept His command to endure patiently, He will also keep them from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. (Verse 10) This seems pretty clear to me, that Jesus is not going to make them go through Jacob's trouble. And to 2 Thessalonians, you didnt keep reading. Verse 7 says, "For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till He is taken out of the way. (Continuing to verse 8 to 12) And then the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the true but have delighted in wickedness.
All together, it sounds like what's going to happen is as soon as the AC is revealed, Jesus is coming to take His Bride. And all that refused to be saved during the time before will now believe the lie.
And what about the countless places where it talks about the Lord's judgment and wrath in those last days? The Bible says that we are not appointed to God's wrath. @@beckyrivere3679 The great tribulation is not God's wrath. God's wrath is poured out at the end. The time of great tribulation is Satan's wrath against the Jews and those who stand with them.
The pre-trib rapture is only taught for the most part in the West. Why do you think that might be?
Jesus did not teach escape and exemption. He called us to be his witnesses, which in Greek is the word for martyr. Persecution and martyrdom, not escape, is the pattern of history. Where is the pre-trib rapture for the believers in China, Iran, for all the underground church? Are they a different kind of believer?
If you are willing to do whatever God asks you, as you say, then you may very well get the chance to prove it. Peter said he would never deny Jesus. But when backed into a corner, he did just that.

Brian Randal, that's a good question ! In Genesis 32:28 it reads, "Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel..." I think it has something to do with what Jacob went thru, thus, "Jacob's trouble." ?

If we look at the "western Christian" nations as the decendants of the 10 tribed northern kingdom called Israel, that we are the sheep Christ mentioned that were "not of this fold", called the Jews(tribes of Judah and Benjamin), and that the 10 tribes called Israel were taken into the Assyrian empire and never to return to the land of Israel, while the southern kingdom called Judah, which consisted of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin(and some Levites) did return to the land, then it all makes perfect sense. We must understand though, that this time does not apply to the "mystery" body of Christ, which has no appointment with God's indignation, aka tribulation/wrath.

Jacobs trouble is when Israel was taken into Babylonian captivity. Jacobs trouble is only mentioned in Jeremiah 30. It is not mentioned anywhere in the entire new testament to conclude or support tribulation is Jacobs trouble. Tribulation affects the entire earth.

JACOB shall be saved out of Jacobs trouble, because it's JACOBS trouble (Jeremiah 30:7. So who is Jacob? Israel (Genesis 32:28). And who is Israel? The Hebrew Israelites. And who are the Hebrew Israelites today? The so called African Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans (Deuteronomy 28:15-68). We are The Most High God's chosen people according to the Bible. And the curses that are on us forever (Deuteronomy 28:46), until we follow his laws, statutes, and commandments can attest to that.
