      He told me a story of his apprenticeship in Wales when he was learning to make heal corks. And had to fill up a 5 gallon pail with these corks before inspection. After the inspection was given a few tips on how to improve them and the pail was emptied. After which he had to fill it up again for the next inspection. This process went on and on until they were perfect. WOW!

    A question came up recently, how do you burn clips into the wall when you have to use any kind of a pad, and have it appear that the pad and shoe were burned to fit precisely, with no gaping space on the wall around the clip?
