If it was in Kleinfield, unlimited budget the first designer that comes to mind would have been Pnina Tornai and her dresses are expensive. I've seen one of her dresses that costs almost $40 000

However it's not the dress she ended up wearing, apparently because her fiancé saw the episode ... finally she got married in the Enzoani Mina dress.
I had a feeling she wasn't going to wear it. Too simple, too cheap.
The one she wore looked very similar.
Never mind the question of why the episode was aired before the wedding, but why did her fiancé watch it (if he wanted to be surprised by the gown on their wedding day)?

I think David Emmanuel’s bridal boutique is the tackiest out of all the “ say yes to the dress” shows. They never look as lux as Goks boutique or Kleinfeld but, he did take part in designing the monstrosity princess Di wore on her wedding day!
And Diana openly hated it

David seems to Roman Hands and Russian Lips and his eye seems to linger a bit longer than is acceptable, IMHO

It's possible that she tried more and they just didn't show it. Or that they told her to act up a little for the cameras xD.

I've never liked David Emanuel or his frumpy designs.
Some of the worst things gorgeous Diana wore were done by him, starting with her massive wedding dress. She looked upholstered in the gigantic, rumpled thing.
You couldn't even tell that she had a figure in that wedding dress.
