Man the USG in Jacksonville was worse. I got there at 1pm, but didn't get the load until 4am next morning. If they don't provide the trailer number you will take a chance in waiting could be quick could take a whole day. But I feel ya pain
Anywhere that we have to pick up wallboard I always call ahead to see if the load is ready, sometimes they go ahead and get it loaded and sometimes it might be coming out right after you get there to pick it up
Gonna be done with securement training here next Thursday man. I'm ready for that 5 day break. So, I can transfer my CDL and unwind for a couple of days before heading out on the trainer truck for a few weeks. I can't say who I'm working for just yet, because I'm still in evaluation. I'll mostly be doing my own securement and tarping, when they cut me loose. I'm expecting to probably do a lot of metal and coil loads, because I live out of Louisville, KY.
@@delgadotrucking Thanks man. Yeah, I'm fully aware of the life or death situation with steel loads of any kind, especially high CoG coil loads. Luckily, the company policy is, all chains first, before any 4" straps are used.

Yeah. I’ve only picked up preloads out of there. That is an extremely long time to be held up. Hopefully you got paid detention.
Drive safe bud!

Awesome news brother. Definitely take your time with coils. Probably the most dangerous product we pull out here. Good luck!
