that introduction might be some of the most intense shit i've heard in music in a long time. straight up sounds like some really epic fucking final boss music.

Magnus Opus does TONS of references to Symphony X, Stratovarius, Circus Maximus, Dream Theater and Seventh Wonder. There's probably more I missed, too.

Once again, Magnum Opus pulls it off. Didn't notice trumpets the first time through either. Now, about that picture. It's absolutely stunning. It's like she's staring into the very depths of my soul. You sorta get the feeling that she's wondering exactly what would be the most interesting way to deal with you.

Circus Maximus are nice as well, but I haven't heard Seventh Wonder that much yet so I can relate to it.
