I always feel sad when black people lift up ethnicity. If you close your month and look at each other, you will see that you are very much the same. The only difference comes in when you start to speak your different languages! Many people who brag of being this or that might in reality very wrong. There are many people who were left with their mothers and many today who brag being Zulus who infect are not pure Zulus! The Zulus defeated many non Zulus to be part of their Kingdom! So, stop being tribalistic.
Ebrahim Isaacs! What are you talking about? What kind of African names are these? Ebrahim Isaacs? Never heard of it!!! Which liberation struggle are you talking about?
Am all for each tribe being proud of their heritage etc but the ndebelez are not proud of their language. Go to SA they are scared to speak ndebele in public go to botswana same thing. Even in bulawayo they r slowly adopting zulu phrases etc. How on earth will you grow as a mighty nation if u r even scared to project yourself.
You need to learn the roots of IsiNtungwa...Ndebele is beyond a language... (Etymological differences that most of the now spoken Ndebele is not what is original IsiNtungwa if they speak Zulu their tracing to what is real the foundation of their language..We can't separate the two.... Get you history correct you will appreciate them better!!!!!
@@mpumelelojuniormdladlakama289 I agree I am not an expert in language issues. But my point is ndebeles in zimbabwe should be proud and not scared to speak their ndebele version wherever they go. Shona people are not scared. Theys peak their language with proud and as a result shona is known even beyond zimbabwe.
To compare Shona speaking people and Ndebeles I think its not fair because our roots are intertwined with Zulus...Remember within Ndebeles you have Khalangas,Lozwi, most from Mambo dynasty which was destroyed by Zwangendaba long before the arrival of Mzilikazi and the Khumalos(AmaNtungwa)...he also had to respect their languages and custom so what he did he had to create a circle Zansi(Which is most formed by houses from Zululand)--Enhla ( Sothos,Tswanas,Venda,Etc) Hole (Khalangas,Tonga's,Nambyas etc)..To say we don't speak it with pride its too harsh if you don't your your roots....E.g the word like ("imuli muuri),(uMlimu,Modimo) are not Ndebele they distort the link between Khumalos in Zululand and Bulawayo... We who are from the AmaNtungwa Clan we know the difference!!!!!!
@@mpumelelojuniormdladlakama289 am comparing in terms of pride of one's language and not origin. I could hv compared ndebeles to brazilians etc it wouldnt matter. My point here is an encouragement to ndebeles from zimbabwe to be proud of their language and to hold their head high and not be scared to speak it in public even if they go to south africa. I am not being harsh i am simply encouraging. I love ndebele so much and I travel a lot and I hv seen that ndebeles kind of shrink to come out in the clear open. Its only in bulawayo where they r more vocal and proud. But how do u grow and become a mighty nation if u r scared to project yourself beyond borders.
