Those gypsy children begging for alms are used by a gypsy mafia, who keep all the money collected by those children. You should NOT give them money, it is a criminal scam.

Being born and raised in Australia as a Serb Australian I definitely know the vibe your feeling in Serbia Ana. It’s one of those wonderful mix of emotions and sense of belonging that makes us proud of who we are. That vibe that you feel makes all of us come back on regular occasions to Serbia to enjoy those wonderful moments and also to untangle those stresses from our busy repetitive lifestyles back home. This experience is what we simply need every now and then in our lives to simply chillax and top up that good vibe prior coming back to the hustle and bustle. Great video clip Ian and Ana. @@y.u.208 Previously the Balkans were not actually’ considered as part of Europe, cause they always considered and mentioned them as those nations over there in the Balkan peninsula. Now we only hear the fraise Europe and whether Serbia is or needs to be part of Europe currently is up to the people. After some thirty years of systematical abuse by intervention of foreign powers in the region - labelling Serbia as the bad’ guy, - it’s now going to take some time I believe in which the larger majority ofSerbias population approve joining the European Union. Others got away with war crimes and mass expulsion of Serbs in Croatia and Kosovo and for that they were rewarded NATO membership as puppet states to the alliance . There’s no rush to join asap so Serbia’s main goal is to strive ahead in its interests and continue to build a more robust economy. Joining the EU will come eventually I believe when European Union shows its own character and self strength to remove American influence in the Balkans. When European Union collectively becomes genuine to self ruled its own union without any US & British intermingling, than Serbia will feel some safe reassurance to become a permanent EU member. Right now its up to EU to clamp down on deliberate instability and provocations by neighbouring quasi states. Serbia once considered the US & Britain as close friends and its sad to see those two change their attitude against Serbia. Serbia alway has and will stand alone. We deeply respect those actions and people who respect Serbia and it’s people. - Sorry mate I got a little carried away with with your question. I only wish the best for Serbia and its people live a life of no threats by or-hers. I may want to retire there some day soon so I’ll keep my options open. Long live Serbia as we Serbs say both home and abroad. Kind Regards, Second Gen Aussie. 👍
@@d-milsthorp 🙏 thankful for your true, open and detailed words & Input!! Very appreciated, very interesting, as non-Serban and only with public press I wouldn't get that perspective🙏. It's very nice and from many different perspectives written. As I just realize ultimately many wrong or let's say from only one perspective documentations about our histories, it means a lot to me. Happenings, occurances always have different views, I just see that we get information what we are supposed to get, but how shall a person then find out truth & make right conclusions for next steps or decisions?? I am quite sure that the reporters/ narrators were/ are not very aware & maybe territorially seen, it could be condidered to Europe, don't know, everybody changes everything so it matches to their goals. What made me asking the question, was that how can one call sth to be part of when confirmations are not there. That has impact on peoples' minds. So many would go around now believing that Serbia is Europe, as you have explained, and as I feel from other exchanges, they have open doubts. I gave example with Turkey, let me give another example: Musk - Tesla. Musk owns a company named after a great genious & humanist (Nikola Tesla), who died in 1940ies. But his work & ideology was so emense & good. I believe, if the companys' name were different, he (Musk) wouldn't sell so many cars, wouldn't get that popularity & support. The usual human mind is quite simple, give a brand name with positive connotation & you have a selling product. That misuse for profit can be intention, most don't see. We buy things called 'bio', how biological are these? We donate to redcross, UNICEF,... How responsible are they really dealing with the donations. Before I get drifted apart, again thank you a lot, just want to have right infornations for my decision taking & view on things Blessings & yes, you can be proud! The position your country is taking, maybe a solely and burdened one but definitely an honorable one & if not recognized by people or other states in this timeline, I am convinced that standing for own opinions, beliefs, in favor of it's country & people will be reckoned from another side. Respectful thanks, continuesly hoping for better & truth, (a cosmic friend🕯️)
Loved this video! Belgrade or Serbia in general hasn't been a place that I have thought about visiting but now I'm definitely interested. Thanks for showing us this beautiful city! 😍🙌🏼
Hahaha Ana is so excited that you are excited!! You are gonna have a blast WOOT WOOT. Thanks for watching guys and let us know how you like Serbia after visiting
The "Anna Cult" alas has begun (or in full parade dress). Anna: Ignore this stuff (rot). I'm long enough in years to know that if creative people do not read the feedback, they continue to be themselves (the reason why the two of you have succeeded). If they do, they turn into (GASP) Martha Stewart (if you don't know who she is, this is a blessing in itself).
Dear Ana and Ian, this has to be one of the most wholesome depictions of Belgrade I've ever seen. My mother, Nada Simić, who was born in Belgrade in 1951 - one of the few remaining OG Yugoslavian cosmopolitans herself - was the leading actress and singer in the world renowned musical 'HAIR' across the roaring 60s and 70s, when Belgrade was undoubtedly experienced by millions across the globe as THE place to be. My mother's awe-inspiring stories of the city have kept my soul alive. Something I'll be eternally grateful for as a someone from the younger Serbian diaspora population. Although the city has endured numerous changes across these historically defining decades, I've personally witnessed from my first-ever visit as a 9-year-old landing in the two-metre thick snow, to my now adult-self, its timeless beauty, class, elegance, charm, warmth, hospitality, atmosphere, energy, etc. It will forever feel like home. Every damn time. Fun fact: ‘Belgrade’ literally translates as ‘White City.' If you ever choose to visit in the winter, you can also allow the euphoric atmosphere to be your guide. Thanks once again for your phenomenal capture of this gorgeous city! Many blessings to everyone here from my mother and I from the vast, distant land of Australia! 🧡🙏🏼💫
Watching this video, I feel like I've wasted a good chunk of my life in the US. I need to come to Serbia. This video is a perfect example of what living life is all about. Bringing my woman with me too! (She's Serbian!)
I used to live in Belgrade and damn I miss it so much. You guys made my day with this video, it made me super nostalgic. I was amazed at how modern it has become especially the buses, the new construction and how tidy everything looks. Everything you guys showed was true like the Belgrade lifestyle is really something different, there's so much entertainment for so cheap, everyone is so warm and friendly and relaxed, the cafés, the splavs, Ada Ciganlija, the delicious food, even the gypsy kids begging for money:( but everything has this awesome relaxed mediterranean vibe, there's a level of relaxation I never felt before or since living there. One thing I would avoid eating at Skadarlija, just walk through it to see it, but the restaurants are overpriced and will charge you more for tourists, there's actually much better options to eat around town.
Hvala, divno predstavljanje mog Beograda i Srbije. Pozdrav iz Zemuna, najzanimljivijeg dela Beograda Thank you for wonderful presentation of my Belgrade and Serbia. Greetings from Zemun, the most interesting part of Belgrade
Thank you, Adriana and Ian, both of you did an amazing job in such a short video. Belgrade is not just the capital city of Serbia, and once upon a time Yugoslavia, it is the city of the mix of many worlds. It is the perfect connection between the East and West. I am originally from Serbia-Vojvodina, but I did a study in Belgrade, and I love that city. Best, Nenad from Seattle, WA
The problem most 1st generation Serbs are not properly taught Serbia's history. The rule in our house here in Canada was Serbian inside the house and English outside. That's why my accent is much more closer to natives than Anna. The fact that she said her father never spoke Serbian only shows her lack of Kosovo and the politics behind it. I'm so happy that my parents brought everything over to teach us kids about the real issues going behind that you don't see on Fox, CNN. Kosovo je nase!
Nikada u životu nisam ovo nikome napisao, ali sada moram. Ana ti si najlepša devojka koju sam ikada video. Od glave do pete si apsolutno savršena. Sve najbolje želim tebi i tvom momku. Živeli sto godina.

Looks like Paradise. I'm an Aussie currently living in the UK on the lookout for new horizons. I'm going to take a visit to Belgrade to see if it might suit the life I'm hoping to build.
You should go to see KRIPTA, too. It is underground, under the main Church (there are stairs on the left-hand side). You never saw such beauty! Simply amazing!
This was so very cool to watch. Ive recently learned some of my family history, my grandparents were Yugoslav refugees, born in what is now Veprovac Serbia. I'd love to go back some day and experience my roots. Great video
Ian, it was actually interesting what you said about the way people from USA live and how Europeans in general live, lots to talk about, but i'm gonna leave it until you guys come to Portugal! By the way, i wasn't expecting such a beautiful city, Belgrade. Ana, you look happier than ever returning to your origins. Looking forward to see more!
It was so dang fun showing off Serbia to you!! Ana is very proud of her country. Also, Portugal is looking like a place we will be visiting in 2022. Would love if you showed us around
The way of living in Serbia (and Balkans in total), Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain is very different than in western or northern Europe. We on the south are much more lenient and enjoy the life. We are not that rich in money, but are very rich in soul and heart! Love to be Serbian, I wouldn’t trade my country for anyone else!
Ian and Ana, Absolutely excellent video! Beautifully presented, nice music, and your commentary and impressions were spot on. Serbia and its culture are amazing, and Belgrade totally freaking rocks! I’ve been there many times; they know how to live and celebrate life. Best wishes from a Chicago Serb!
The best video about Belgrade I have seen so far! Thank you so much for making it! You both seem super sweet and we would love if you both decided to move here. You are always welcome! 💙🌼 P.s. Ana is really pretty 🥰
I'M GOING BACK HOME....BELGRADE HERE I COME...CANT LIVE ENYMORE IN THE BORING NORTH EUROPE...WHEN I WATCH THIS I SEE WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT IN LIFE ....MY SERBIA IS WHAT I NEED
Great to see your video. Anna, I'm also a Serbian American from Western PA with lots of ties to Serbia and have relatives in Belgrade (Beograd if you want to use the Serbian pronunciation). I have been to Serbia several times and I love it. I have been in lots of places around the world but I have to say Belgrade is one of the most fun and beautiful places. I noticed your comment about the gypsy kids; they are often not what they seem. They are similar to grifters in the US, but are much more open and direct in Belgrade and ask for money from tourists. Usually, you don't see very many. But other than that Serbia and Belgrade is fabulous. And it's so inexpensive by American standards. Perhaps I'm a bit biased but people are so warm and friendly. After seeing your video, I have to get over there soon to have some burek sa mesom. Loved listening to the Serbian spoken by your family. Hvala.
I've never heard of Serbia before sadly. Last night, while walking on the beach, I met a couple of girls who were speaking the language. It piqued my interest in the country, so here I am watching this video. Belgrade looks like an amazing place and I can't wait to learn more about it. I'm going to re-watch this one a few times to learn the landmarks.
Great work! I never knew Serbia was so great. Love your videos. Have fun and enjoy each other. Ian is quite the drinker, becareful Ian and be responsible.
I just loved that video (and the one on Gola Glava. My parents are from Serbia and I go there every couple of years. It's my 12-year old daughter's favorite place on earth. We're headed there summer of '22. A great friend of mine owns a fantastic restaurant in LA, and he's from Valjevo (which reputedly has the best food in Serbia). I recommend a visit to Raska and Cacak when you return. Then I got into your Greek video - another favorite of ours. Sve najbolje!
Very nice video. And professionally filmed and edited. Good work. Just one advice concerning the comments: Unfortunately there are some people who try to spread their lies, hate and stupidity. Please delete these comments, they're insulting Serbia and the Serbian people. And they're spitting on your wonderful work. Thanks and keep up the good spirit.

This experience is what we simply need every now and then in our lives to simply chillax and top up that good vibe prior coming back to the hustle and bustle.
Great video clip Ian and Ana.
Aussie Serb
Živela jaka Srbija 😎
Come back for good! ❤
Aaah, here I see, you wrote you are Serb. Allow me my question: Do you consider or is Serbia considered a part of Europe??
Hvala in advance 🙏
Kind Regards,
Second Gen Aussie.
Before I get drifted apart, again thank you a lot, just want to have right infornations for my decision taking & view on things
Blessings & yes, you can be proud! The position your country is taking, maybe a solely and burdened one but definitely an honorable one & if not recognized by people or other states in this timeline, I am convinced that standing for own opinions, beliefs, in favor of it's country & people will be reckoned from another side.
Respectful thanks, continuesly hoping for better & truth,
(a cosmic friend🕯️)

Loved this video! Belgrade or Serbia in general hasn't been a place that I have thought about visiting but now I'm definitely interested. Thanks for showing us this beautiful city! 😍🙌🏼
Where you from🙃
All of my family is from Serbia and we visit family every year, seeing people visit Belgrade, have fun and try our food warms my heart. LOVE YALL
OMG I didn't know Anna is of Serbian origins! "Zdravo Lepa" One of my best friends is Serbian and I can't wait to visit soon.
She looks like it with some Asian mix .
Yes, please do so. You will not regret one second of the decision, i promise.
Welcome 🤗
US there is no life.only spending our good time for nothing.bad place for children too.getting spoiled at the early stage of life.
Great, what have you two been waited for? You are still in the States? Run into your Serbia and free some space for normal American people.
Most POLLUTED AIR in EU Look it up
I used to live in Belgrade and damn I miss it so much.
Pozdrav iz Zemuna, najzanimljivijeg dela Beograda
Thank you for wonderful presentation of my Belgrade and Serbia.
Best,

Awww Nenad this made our day!! Serbia is such an underrated country as a whole. We need to get out to Seattle. Maybe you can show us around
Europe is a beautiful Continent !
Great Video! I moved to BG a year ago and I can say its the best place in the world right now, hands down. Hvala
Been to Serbia many times and never disappointed!
Thank you for coming, king and queen. Long live Serbia! ♥
0:28 Ana, please, Kosovo is Serbia. You as a serbian should be proud of our amazing history!
Она је само рођена као Српкиња
The problem most 1st generation Serbs are not properly taught Serbia's history. The rule in our house here in Canada was Serbian inside the house and English outside. That's why my accent is much more closer to natives than Anna. The fact that she said her father never spoke Serbian only shows her lack of Kosovo and the politics behind it. I'm so happy that my parents brought everything over to teach us kids about the real issues going behind that you don't see on Fox, CNN. Kosovo je nase!

Well, you sold me on Belgrade! A top notch video, one of your best! I especially like seeing the family connection.

Awww this comment made our entire day!! We need to visit Bosnia and make a video. Maybe you could show us around one day
@@ian.and.ana. If you are planning to visit Bosnia, you must go to Sarajevo. You ate Ćevapi in Walter restaurant, so it wouldn't be bad to see the city he defended 😂
Great video about this magnificent city! Greetings from Zagreb, Croatia.
Video je užasan , ruga se celoj Srbiji
Great video Ana, but the map of Serbia includes our southern region of Kosovo and Metohija. Since you’re Serbian, I hold you to higher standards, no excuses. Please fix that.
It’s the other way around . Serbia is Albanian soil . This one Russian said you’re their Russians too .
Amazing footage once again guys. Now I want to go to Serbia.

The best video about Serbian food, culture and city I ever seen on the platform. Hands down, I miss this country that I was born in. Im looking forward to visit it again.
The food is albanian and bosnian, they have no original food, culture or history.

Looks like Paradise. I'm an Aussie currently living in the UK on the lookout for new horizons. I'm going to take a visit to Belgrade to see if it might suit the life I'm hoping to build.
We just made it to Belgrade today! Can’t wait to explore👏🏻 thank you for the video!
Beautifully done! It was amazing! Especially the Orthodox Church.
You are the best!!
Great video
The best video you guys have made yet

Ian, it was actually interesting what you said about the way people from USA live and how Europeans in general live, lots to talk about, but i'm gonna leave it until you guys come to Portugal! By the way, i wasn't expecting such a beautiful city, Belgrade. Ana, you look happier than ever returning to your origins. Looking forward to see more!

The way of living in Serbia (and Balkans in total), Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain is very different than in western or northern Europe. We on the south are much more lenient and enjoy the life. We are not that rich in money, but are very rich in soul and heart! Love to be Serbian, I wouldn’t trade my country for anyone else!
... Spain and Portugal (I forgot Portugal).
@@novak5071 For sure! We are all very proud of our nation, culture and traditions and there is nothing that pays that!

WHATS UP!!
@@ian.and.ana. Your ancestors are rolling in graves, that's what's up. You're ignoring the fact that you posted fake map.
Was there this last summer, I absolutely love it!
So underrated!! Glad you enjoyed

I love Belgrade and Serbia :) Love from Germany🥰
I just loved that video (and the one on Gola Glava. My parents are from Serbia and I go there every couple of years. It's my 12-year old daughter's favorite place on earth. We're headed there summer of '22. A great friend of mine owns a fantastic restaurant in LA, and he's from Valjevo (which reputedly has the best food in Serbia). I recommend a visit to Raska and Cacak when you return. Then I got into your Greek video - another favorite of ours. Sve najbolje!
Your cinematography is impressive
