If you work in a real ER setting, it's a taboo to say "It's peaceful" or "Oh, we got no patients today", "It's calm" or anything remotely resembling those statements. It's a universal jinx and when someone said those things, the staff would automatically went into battle-mode and as sure as gravity, sh*t went down minutes after that.
Probably some EMS in the past be like: "Ah, what a quiet and peaceful Tuesday morning." And just like that, half an hour later the first plane hit the North Tower.
Just like when you go to office early, and before working you take a break at the spacious pantry and drink some coffee in silence while no one is around. Yes, good stuff

Was up in the mountains on vacation and one night I couldn't sleep so I went outside and just watched the night animals while enjoying the peace. Everyone else was asleep so it was just quiet. I got to see some foxes, owls, and bats. They didn't even seem to notice me or care because one of the foxes walked in front of me within 10 feet. With animals I have a very calming presence. They tend to relax around me or even come up to me to check me out. Many times I've had snakes, birds, or small mammals just come sit or lay beside me. Some even fell asleep. I've got a lizard pet and when I take him outside birds and squirrels come over to us, but they stay about 10-15 feet away. They will watch us for a bit then leave.
I remember it was around 2000ish and I was like 15-16 years old sitting on the front porch at my sister's house early one morning. I believe the sun hadn't been up for too long. I had my Walkman listening to a early morning radio show. Than randomly they started talking about a dude that had to have an emergency surgery on his "sail" because his little blue pill lasted for more than 4 hours. They said due to the surgical his "sail will never fly again" and yes they used Sail as a radio friendly terminology. That one memory of me sitting outside on my sister's porch early in the morning will always stick with me for the rest of my life.

Most importantly I remember when people communicated face to face or over the phone and I knew everybody's phone number by heart. Now days the only people's numbers I know by heart is my parent's phone number and my local Walmart because those numbers hasn't changed since I could remember except when they added the area codes to them.
