- Toy Story, the very first CG animated feature length movie, gets reviewed, parodied and gushed over by The Unusual Suspect.
Toy Story 1, or the 1st Toy Story, came out in 1995 and began a CGI renaissance for Pixar, who went onto make Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Inside Out, Turning Red, Lightyear and much more. But this film set the standard, with beloved characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, Mr Potato Head, Slinky the Dog, Hamm and Rex.
In this movie review of the animated kids classic, Suspect takes a look at the full movie, and shows off his haul of Toy Story toys, embraces his inner YTP editor, and dares to even criticize at one point! Not like this is a movie review! But it is also a parody/spoof of the greatest children's movie of all time. What if Toy Story was real life? What if Toy Story scenes/clips were a little more adult friendly? Perhaps fixing Woody up as a Jedi? Regardless, my reviews take a lot of inspiration from many other critics online, like Jeremy Jahns, Chris Stuckmann, The Nostalgia Critic, The Angry Video Game Nerd, Your Movie Sucks, Caddicarus and Redlettermedia. If you watch those guys, I hope you enjoy my reviews too.

I kinda agree. I mean, Suspect was my first RUclips channel to have subscribed to, and I think also the first channel where I watched the video so many times (that wasn't a compilation of Power Rangers Openings).
No one is going to fight you on that bud.
Ace Cola I like the Nostalgia Critic, but he has jumped the shark lately, and I don’t just mean because of the #changethechannel controversy.
Besides, without Nostalgia Critic, we wouldn’t have Unusual Suspect.
Although I admit that NC has paved the way for many online critics, I think that his latest material has become incredibly stale and unimpressive, Not to mention the way they are treating the whole controversy surrounding the mismanagement of the fellow producers.
You won’t find me watching any of Channel Awesome’s videos on RUclips anytime soon.
I mean I've watched suspect's prequel and Spider-Man reviews too many times to count. But the nostalgia critic is amazing

I found the moment of Buzz's realization to be the touching moment of the film that you claim this film lacks.
The way he goes through the stages of grief really hits hard, and eventually allows Woody to comfort him, confess his insecurities, and see eye-to-eye with him.
I notice, especially with the first 3 Toy Story movies, that the emotional impact of the “gut-wrenching” moments exponentiates (SIDE-NOTE: Suspect forgot to mention the furnace scene in 3)

I love how the ERB bit practically came out of nowhere
It’s a mix of Eminem and Dr Dre “Guilty Conscience” it’s the same beat of the song and the same kinda stuff ERB does with Who Won and Who’s Next
Fun fact about the Toy Story Trilogy; In addition to having Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and a few other actors voicing the same characters in the first 3 Toy Story movies; the same actor who voiced Andy in the original Toy Story, that being a John Morris, reprised his role as Andy in all three films.
Now keep in mind, I haven't seen Toy Story 4 yet, so i have no idea if Andy's in the movie, and I don't know if John Morris reprised his role in that film. But it's amazing that a young child who voiced someone actually returned to voice the same character not once, but twice, and during different points as the character gets older.
With a name like that, that makes me wonder if the guy's familiar with Castlevania.

This movie is so damn iconic, a bunch of teenagers made a shot for shot live action remake of it..and Pixar ADORES IT so much that they asked them for a physical copy for personal keeps.

Memory is closely tied to the sense of smell, you can improve your recall by smelling something while you try to memorize something (by chewing gum for example), then smelling it again when you need to remember it.

TheHero136 I didn’t like how Woody was treated the whole movie and I personally don’t like the animation which I get that is unfair but it has to be said. But other then that, it is one solid movie. BTW my ranking scores are like this:

9/10 = Amazing
8/10 = Great

6/10 = Okay
5/10 = Mediocre
4/10 = Meh
3/10 = Bad
2/10 = Terrible
1/10 = Worst Film ever made
So Toy Story is in the okay but I would call it good because it’s a landmark and the first step in a genre of animation so I have to give it credit.

My defense for that is that he let his jealousy get to his head and had to amend for his mistakes. I mean his actions led to Buzz getting pushed out the window and he acted like a jerk to Buzz for about 2/3 the movie. But I totally get it if you don't like the movie. There are some movies a ton of people love that I can't stand like Happy Feet, King Kong 2005 or Interstellar. I hate those movies but tons of people love em. I also love movies a lot of people hate like Temple of Doom, Revenge of the Sith, and Dark Knight Rises.

Unusual Suspect has unusually sharp comedic timing with these edits/mashups, they should really be huger than they are.
I actually thought of a funny joke that Pixar could've done in Toy Story 3 that would have continued with Sid's PTSD from the first film.
It's when Woody tries to help the gang get out of the garbage bag, before the trash collector guy (Sid) throws them into the back of the garbage truck.
So while Sid is jamming on whatever music he's listening to, the toys attempt to use Rex's tail to get out, similar to how it was done in the actual film.
Sid picks up the bag, but hears rustling, and thinks there's some animal in there. He opens up the bag while the toys freeze in place, and the two sides stare at each other long and hard.
*Rex (whispering): "Uh, do you guys think he saw us move?"*
Sid then lets out a scream as he drops the now opened bag and yells:
*Sid: "The toys!!! The toys are alive!!!"*
Sid then jumps into the passenger side of the truck as the driver looks at him as Sid's freaking out.
*Driver: "Sid, are you all right? You look like you've seen a ghost or something."*
*Sid: "The toys!!! The toys, they're alive!!!"*
*Driver (rolls eyes): "Oh great, just my luck. First Mack calls in sick, now I gotta deal with a fruitcake who's screaming about living toys. What are you talking about living toys, Sid?"*
*Sid: "The toys are back, and they wanna get me. I used to have nightmares ever since I was a kid. My therapist said I'd grow out of it eventually. But they're back, and they want revenge. Just drive before they get me!!!"*
Sid slams his boot onto the driver's boot, pushing the gas pedal down, and rocketing away.
The gang sticks all of their heads out of the bag as they watch the truck scream away.
*Jessie: "Do you know what that was all about, Buzz?"*
*Buzz: "I don't know, Jessie. Something about that young man seems strikingly familiar. It's like I've seen him somewhere before."*
I'd laugh like a hyena on coke at that joke. Like and comment if you wanna.
*SLAMS HANDS ON DESK* You're hired!

In the first Toy Story, Sid obviously never knew that toys came to life. He didn't appear in Toy Story 2 at all, but he then appeared as the garbage man in Toy Story 3. Near the end of the film, Woody and the gang would hitch a ride on the garbage truck to get back to Andy's house. My theory is that Sid wanted to atone for mistreating toys, so he actually helps Woody and everyone else get back to Andy's house. While he may be the only human who has seen toys come to life, that knowledge could be beneficial.
When Potato Head was calling Slinky a Kiss-ass, I think Potato Head's mouth clipped through his mustache, but I won't blame 95 PCs for that.

That only happens when the camera is on Suspect; the rest of the shots, his audio is fine (more likely speaking into a dope mic where other sounds don’t easily bleed into it). This improvement in audio has been around since his Raiders and Revenge of the Sith reviews
faun fact: another deleted scene alters the the ending of the "Traumatize sid" scene, where it ends with us hearing sid beg for mercy.. as his toys close his shades...
