Not true about the neck bending(or gluing on a neck..)Ed detuned to compensate for the chords he was playing to be in tune. This fact is ealiy researched.Gene has a very loose relationship to the facts.
@bdsatterfield - Gene likely wears a wig from all the times he set his actual hair on fire from all the stunts through the years. Actual human hair can only take so much abuse.
I always thought that Randy Rhoads was the greatest, but didn’t live long enough to really be recognized. I was 13 when he died. Crazy how long ago that was. I was a total metal head & loved his work with Ozzy.
@ I think GenX started in 1965. At 13-15 years old, those people (including me) started getting into music around 1977-1980 and graduated college in the late 80’s to early 90’s. I think it’s during high school and college that we really lock in on our lifetime musical tastes. 70’s arena rock to early grunge is all GenX. That goes from AC/DC, Journey, Rush, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, etc all the way through the first couple albums from Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Gun’s n Roses, etc. There was also disco and the start of hip-hop during that time. As well as all kinds of pop like Michael Jackson. But, from a rock music perspective, GenX includes all those bands I mentioned.
@@OhNoNotAgain42 Ok well the point is, its for old people. When I ask Google what Gen X music is, they only talk about 90s and grunge like I mentioned. Why act like an idiot. Gene liked eddie and said that he was a great person. Gene helped out VH early on. Why all the hate?
Glued? It's a bolt on, not a set neck

Not a big Kiss fan, but their success story and their love of the U.S.A. can't be denied and personally, wonderful to see in the rock and roll world.

It must be a heavy burden to carry all that ego around all the time
Gene loves himself more than anyone else
WOULD HAVE LIKE TO HAVE SEEN EDDIE AND ALEX SWITCH INSTRAMENTS FOR A TRACK OR TWO OR AS A BONUS TRACK. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL.
The neck was bolted on, not glued on. I think Gene's been sniffing too much glue! LOL
Necks are BOLTED to the guitar body, not glued.
some necks are glued, like on a Gibson Les Paul standard, but I don't think it was a glued on neck on the Frankenstrat....probably a bolt on...
@johnnyrotundo6483 yes i know, the context of what kind (of guitar) is unclear in Genes words.
The way I understand it is he originally glued the neck on and made improvements to it as time went along whatever that means. He did originally just glue it though.
Respect the dead, stop trying to get views from them.
Warned? Where was the warning?
clickbait crap. gene simmons was still learning to play while kiss was forming their kiddie show
I think Gene was pertaining to Eddie's guitar not in tune yet he still played it like a champ.
Gene tought eddie how to play guitar. Gene taught eddie how to write songs.Gene put together van halen. Gene invented life.
@@tambor76 so basically he tells stories just like Eddie did

How come Gene Simmons has Black hair !!
I'm sure he dyes his hair.😊
Hairpiece or wig?
Guessing as a bald guy myself

aaah so cool..!!!LIONS NAMED LEO.!!
Another garbage channel.
Kiss and Van Halen are the boomer bands that I really can't make myself enjoy.
I do like the Van-Hagar years I guess.
To be fair… I think Van Halen is more of a GenX band
