@@JeffHorchoff thanks 💯
Mr Ed, your Vevor is way better because it was FREE! I’m glad that you were able to do this video. It will help anyone thinking about a thermal camera so they can see quality and price.
You’d have thought it were your birthday! Now if only it could just pinpoint the Queen🥴😉🤣😏.
Unlike my wallet, I love Vevor! They have all sorts of cool and quality gadgets.
And this thermal camera is my favorite one so far. What a great piece of equipment. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Curt.
Mr. Ed
🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁 You are like a kid at Christmas Time getting a new toy. 💝💝💝😻😻😻😻
It's an amazing difference between the two. Flir has been around a long while and used in military and law enforcement applications so its nice to see another company offering a nice device at a low cost. Thanks for sharing Mr Ed!! God Bless!!!
Nice. Large viewing screen, great clarity and precision. Thanks for the information. God bless.
Hello
Great video Jeff. I just bought a Vevor myself. I bought mine for facility maintenance. Checking for electrical hot spots and hot water leaks. It was nice seeing you at the Expo.
Wonderful to have met you and so many others at the Expo, what a GREAT experience and I'm already looking forward to next year's. You are going to love using the Vevor camera, for finding bees, it is awesome! Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Dat badboy is so good you can see the peanut butter and honey samich you had for breakfast! 😱😁🤪😝🤣👍👍🇺🇲
Exciting.
I'm loving the new camera. For these old eyes, it is a joy to bee hold. Thanks for watching. God's peace Mike.
Mr. Ed
Congratulations.
Awesome! 💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏
That scanning tool really is amazing for finding bees. It makes you… Beeman, the ultimate superhero.
Thermal cameras are a must when it comes to locating bees in structures, it is the most high tech tool in my arsenal of bee wrangling equipment. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Ok, I'm sold on this VEVOR and just ordered one. It would be nice to see how the cluster is doing in the winter without opening the beehive. I was actually looking at a FLIR, but after watching your video and the clarity of the images between the FLIR and VEVOR, well, VEVOR got my money.
You are going to love what the camera can do. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Jim.

Good review 👍 God bless🙏💕😊
Thanks!
Thank you Larry. By the way, I'm going live this morning at 9 central time, I hope you can stop by for a bit. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I'm so happy they sent this to you. It is amazingly clear in comparison to your older Flir. I do agree with you about the lasers. What happens if you push the lights in this setting? I'd make it a suggestion to add lasers for placement when you give them your review. They might even be able to change out the lights with lasers for you...who knows until you ask.
Nice comparison, although 5 or 6 years is a lot when it comes to technology. So the new camera being better than the old one, isn't a real surprise. One thing was not mentioned though. Is the new one able to spot the location of the queen? If so, Dirtrooster should get him one as well 🤣 Have a great weekend.
Even if the camera was able to spot the queen, the Rooster would not be able to pick her out from the bees surrounding her. That's where the laser light would have helped. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
I like it to. Just bought one
You are going to love it...and the price can't be beat. Thanks for watching. God's peace Beckie.
Mr. ed
Flir is the industry standard, this will be interesting.
They certainly do have a very well established name in the industry. However, with the emergence of new technology every day, new companies are coming into the market and they well know who they are competing against so hopefully the product will reflect that awareness. Personally, I'd buy the Vevor simply for the price and preformance and hope that it lasts as long as the Flir. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Thanks for the review!
I hope it proved useful to you if you are considering buying one. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace.

Boy Jeff. This video cost me some money. God bless. Russ in Cross Plains.
It may have cost you a few bucks, but every time you use it you will thank me for saving you some money and for showing such a great product. Keep me posted on how you use it and your opinion of it. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace Russ.
Mr. Ed
Good morning Jeff, wish you would have done this video a month earlier, I just purchased the Flir 165-X, but I like the results I've gotten so far. The price difference would have been the deciding factor. Great video, keep on making more, God Bless my friend. Windy Ridge Bee's.
No doubt about it, the Flir is a great product, and you won't regret it. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace Liz.
Mr. Ed
Even though the vevor doesn’t have lasers, it shows a good enough picture graphics so you can pinpoint the area anyhow. I can see the perfect image of the window frame so I can see exactly where the hive is. Good review…
I personally wouldn't understand the lack of the laser(s) unless I had seen Ed use that Flir for years or whatever it is. That laser feature is extremely practical not just for bystanders/viewers it has to a pretty neat feature for the user as well. I would probably try have tried to attach a laser to it myself since they're pretty small these days.
I really like the laser feature on the Flir, but a hand held laser does the same job and that's how I will be doing it in the future. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Great comparison video.
Loved seeing the campus, so beautiful you’re so lucky to live in work in that area. Thank you Jeff for all your share.
I just hand the instructions to my wife. She reads contracts for a living and retains all that stuff. Technology has passed me by. Love what you do and thanks for sharing. God bless.🙏♥️👍🏼
You and i are in the same boat, tech is for someone else. Thank you for your blessings, kind words, and for taking the time to watch the video. God's peace Steve.

I just bought a flir one gen 3 for android. All I could afford.
They certainly will work...especially if that's all one can afford. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.

@@JeffHorchoff You talked me into getting the vevor from vevor Australia. Bought it as well. Used the discount code. It worked

Good Morning Mr.Ed,
I am laughing the whole way back!
Hurry! That to me was funny. You got run of the mill over there.. lollol
Now that camera is really impressive!
I need one myself. Good video! Have a wonderful day
It used to be that we could not take thermal cameras out of the USA due to 'technology' restrictions. Now china is making a better thermal camera than the USA? Oh my! Well, 5 year old vs new comparisons...
With that thing, I'll bee expecting some really good bee portraits and nice shots of her majesty, the Queen! I hope this camera makes your task much easier, and can't wait for more extractions and framing video! God Bless and you, wreck it Ralph, and good time Charlie bee safe!
Hi mr Ed. Great litle machine. Clear image. Thanx for sharing. God bless u real good
Good morning, my respect to the gardeners at the Abbey, the grounds are really lovely, may I ask what are the red flowers or fruit at 1.58 of this video? As always a very interesting video,Thanks for posting!!!
There are a total of 4 of them, and they all work very hard making and keeping the grounds so beautiful. Those are cratemyrtle trees and they come in a number of different colors of flowers. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

Thanks for sharing it’s amazing what we can do with stuff nowadays I had a doctor use his phone and a attachment that let him use his phone for a ultrasound crazy worked just as good as the ones at the hospital
I like bee business . Im from sri lanka
I bought a VEVOR hive because of a video you posted. It was my 1st hive. Have a blessed day Jeff.
Vevor sells everything. Heck it would not surprise me if they sold airplanes as well. Thanks for watching. God's peace Brian.

For the price, the Vevor is REALLY nice.
I'd have to agree with that! Thanks for watching. God's peace Rich.

How long do you get from a battery charge mine goes through batts badly.
Thanks for letting me know about this vid, Dennis

Hi sir
Wow. Great new gear! Awesome review. Thank you.
Great comparison! Not so sure I'll replace my FLIR yet, but it's something to keep in mind when I'm in the market again.
I can't blame you for not replacing your Flir, but when and if the time comes, I would shop around as Flir is not the only game in town anymore. Thanks for watching. God's peace Jack.
Mr. Ed
Why can't I fly like supa'man? Raining and raw here in central NH. Bees are not out today. They have maybe a week of pollen and nectar collecting left. Time to bring in the wood. Take care
I know the season is winding up for you guys up north. Enjoy the calm before the storm, I think we are going to have a very hard winter this year. By the way, I'm going live tomorrow morning at 9 central time, hope you can make it. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.

Thanks for showing this to us, if I ever decided I needed one I would likely go the Vevor route for the price and as little as it would be getting used.

Maybe with the added clarity you don't really need the pointer?
Nice review, thanks.

If all else fails...read the directions and remember, SIZE matters!😂
I just hate it when all other options fail and I am forced to read. Thanks for watching. God's peace Chris.
Mr. Ed
6:55 I certainly DO read directions! This could be a step forward & have capabilities you never saw before. I have a rice cooker, toaster & microwave with buttons I don't know what they do. A cleaning team arrived to help me get started on cleaning my apartment. They threw away EVERY Instruction Manual I had! :'( I was just beginning to get confident in my cooking too! I wanted to try a few rice dishes, but I don't know how to use the rice cooker! ~ 11:10 That's cool that you found how to get to the settings in the catalog. Most catalogs just show what products are available. ~ 17:34 What is the green box at the top of the TI-Screen [Thermal Imaging Screen]?
I have to agree, reading the booklet was extremely helpful, but it looks like I will have to read more to answer the question of the "green box" on the screen. Thanks for watching. God's peace Steven.
Mr. Ed
Amazingly clear picture on the Vevor! Flir missed the boat by not responding to you and allowing you to compare their current model to the Vevor.
Unrelated question: What time is your live feed tomorrow?
I'm really disappointed they did not respond myself. I'm sure they have had improvements in their cameras as well, but I do know for sure they would not be able to beat the price difference. I go live at 9:00 central time, see you then. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff That’s 7AM my time (Pacific). See you then!
Can you explain to us newbees why you are called Mr. Ed?
The name "Mr. Ed" was given to me the day I began working at the Post Office back in '82. Then, for the next 27 years while working at the PO, that is what everyone called me. When I started my RUclips channel, because I loved the name so much, I decided to call myself that. Thanks for asking and for watching. Until the next time, God's peace Muriel.

@@JeffHorchoff been following you for several years! Even sent you some honey for your Monk Tasting event.
Is there a plastic film on the screen of the Vevor or am I seeing things. If there is once removed it will be an even better image. I see you removed the film already, sorry
When all else fails, read the instructions 😀😀
Only when it's absolutely necessary. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
It is good to upgrade if you need it to do your work better. But if this is just a new toy, then it is a waste. This does not look like a new you. In order to find the bees you need a FLIR type of device. This seems to be doing it and doing it better. God bless you Jeff. Have a blessed week. Try to be careful.
It's all about good tools, and trust me, this thermal camera has proven so far that it is a good one. I'll have to do an update in a year to give a fuller endorsement. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace JJ.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff God bless you and Miss Mona also.
Did my first swarm removal today inspired by you. Man, these guys are angry. Stinging everyone and everything. I'm thinking there's a food shortage on such a huge hive. Dont think they're queenless. Lots of baby bees. BuT Drones galore. Never seen so many huge drones. They're so mad. Never experienced anything like it . Any advice?
Give them a bit of time to calm down, but to be on the safe side, place the hive in a spot that does not have a lot of activity around. That way, no one will be harmed. Let me know how it goes. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
@JeffHorchoff Thanks Mr Ed. They're going to a farm with my other hives. They'll be away from everyone ( and verroa). Only kangaroos and possums will be around them. I've ordered a new italian mated queen for them. I cant open the walls up. Owner wont let me. I've got about 90% of them with the vac. Im afraid the queen and the rest will be euthanasied for everyones safety.
@JeffHorchoff How many do you get die from the vac. I think i had about 20,000 and probably 10,000+ died. Did i have the vac too high? I used a 8 meter long hose. Was that too much?
@@imcmcguiness5110 Generally, only a few bees are dead after a removal. My guess, you were not bleeding off enough vacuum and the bees were killed going though the hose. Live and learn. God's peace brother.

@@JeffHorchoff thank you brother. Good advice
