Hence why I ride a single speed bicycle wherever I go and it's my personal primary mode of transport and I got it for $300.00 with tax out the door back in 14' and its all mine and why I never owned a car like ever and I will never have ANY car note stressing and haunting me every month!
I love cycling whenever I can, but I also believe owning a vehicle is almost a necessity for me based off of what I live (and most or a lot of Canadians?) I still try to mix in as much cycling as possible to cut down on those expenses!
I bicycle commute in Alabama been doing for three years I do not own a car it takes me 13 minutes with shortcuts to get to most places I go on a weekly bases why buy a $40,000 car to add time on my commute
100% - not buying my dream car until I'm at a level where I can buy it in cash and not even notice the change in my account :P Until then - investing in business and skill development.
Do you think your car is keeping you poor?

Here’s my first (and only) step to reduce car dependency:
Expand upon alternative options
Yes, I agree, but what are good alternative options (for both urban and rural areas?)

That’s awesome! I think more people could make it happen if they wanted to… thanks for watching and sharing your experience! 👊
my commute is an 45 minute walk and a 25 minute bike ride why pay for a car if i can do this and get exercise for free.
It’s a great point and something I feel like more and more people are considering lately…

I love that mindset - I see it as “Don’t buy stupid things until you’re stupid rich!” 😂
Maybe not poor but keeping you from being rich. Isn’t that the definition of poor ?
Haha I debated this when choosing to title the video! 😂
