The deeper knowledge is CRUCIAL! Literally yesterday i was sourcing at a Goodwill, and a new cart of shoes came out. Someone rushed over to the shelves ahead of me, grabbed a pair of Spring Step L'Artiste sandals, looked at them, didn't recognize the name, and put them back on the shelf. I grabbed them immediately. Knowledge pays.
Very educational 😊thanks so much!! I’m about 3 months in and learning so much. Adding shoes to my inventory this month. Also researching clothing brands and figuring out what is worth picking up and what doesn’t sell. You live and learn. Making mistakes is part of the game
I want to live and die by comps 100%, but sometimes hunches pay off. I have three pairs that sold quickly and well that didn't have any comps on ebay or poshmark. But I did spend months of looking at Ebay solds before developing the hunches. And I am still not at a 90-day sell-through rate for most of my shoes. It's a learning process.
I tried Burlington, marshals tj max Sal army goodwill and savers . The only local thrift store is a humane society thrift but thers just no sneakers or shoes there that they don’t have priced at $20 and up
@@nowayjose3932 man I source adult and kids Jordans and insanely cheap prices. I swear for just a third party that wanted to profit from it I'd be down.
definitely not any decent thrift stores within 45 min away . I only have 1 store for maybe 10 pairs a week it’s not like on to the next , there is no next store . Goodwill is stupid high and listing the better items themselves

Love the lives so far, great topics! Maybe someday I’ll make it to the actual “live”.
Headed to Melbourne Beach next week for Spring Break. How's the sourcing there? Planning to check out some thrifts!
12:05 that's 1.26% per day, which is incredible, especially if those are consistent numbers
